قال تعالي
وَقَالُوا
كُونُوا هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ (١٣٥)
وقالت اليهود لأمَّة محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم: ادخلوا في دين اليهودية تجدوا الهداية، وقالت النصارى لهم مثل ذلك. قل لهم -أيها الرسول-: بل الهداية أن نتبع- جميعًا- ملة إبراهيم، الذي مال عن كل دين باطل إلى دين الحق، وما كان من المشركين بالله تعالى

هكذا يقول اليهود والنصاري للمسلمين دوماً وابدا، إن لم يكن بالكلام فالبفعل، وإن رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم تنبأ بهذا في الحديث الشريف الذي يقول عن أبي سعيد رضي الله عنه، أنَّ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «لَتَتَّبِعُنَّ سَنَنَ مَنْ قَبْلَكُم شِبْرًا بشبْر، وذراعًا بذراع، حتَّى لو سَلَكُوا جُحْر ضَبٍّ لَسَلَكْتُمُوهُ»؛ قلنا: يا رسول الله؛ اليهودُ والنَّصارى؟ قال النَّبيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: «فَمَن»؟! (رواه الشيخان) ولو تتبعت الأمر لوجدت أن شباب المسلمين لصيق الصلة في الشكل بينه وبين شباب الغرب، ولو كانت الفتاة غير محجبة لن تعرفها من غير المسلمة مطلقا، والشباب الأولاد، نفس تصفيف الشعر، نفس الملابس وحتي نفس الأطعمة المستحبة ولربما نفس ماركات السيارة التي يقتطنيها..الخ لو حدث هذا (وهو بالفعل حدث) فنحن نتتبع اليهود والنصاري ونتتبع دعوتهم التي دعونا إليها ، لم ينفع معنا الكلام، فأخذ الفعل مأخذه، ولكن الله تبارك وتعالي رد علي النصاري واليهود بقوله (قل: أي يا محمد للمسلمين: بل ملة ابراهيم حنيفا وما كان من المشركين) وهنا وقفتين:
1- ملة ابينا ابراهيم وعرفناها من الوجه السابق: كل حياته منذ نعومة اظفاره ووقوفه ضد قومه جميعا يعلن توحيده وعدم رضاه عما يفعل قومه من عبادة الأوثان، وإلي آخر أنفاسه وهو علي سرير الغحتضار وهو يعظ ابناءه وحفيده يعقوب عليه السلام، من أراد السلامة من المسلمين ، فهذه هي القدوة الحقيقية ، وما محمد رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم إلا تكميل ووضع اللبنة الأخيرة في الحنيفية السمحة، والله أعلي واعلم.
2 - الوقفة الثانية: هي أن لا يقال امامك شبهة انت تستطيع ردها عن هذا الدين الحنيف امام اليهود والنصاري أو أمام أي احد من الأديان الأخر (الأديان الأرضية) إلا وينبغي ان تكون عندك حجة لها ورد ناجع ، اسمعك تقول: أنا لا أؤمن بالأديان الأرضية من الأساس، عزيزي: أنك لا تؤمن بوجودها ليس معناه انها ليست موجودة ، هي موجودة بالفعل ، ولربما أتي الله تعالي كثير اً في القرآن الكريم الحديث عن اليهود والنصاري لأنهم الديانتين اللتين تتنافسان في تواجدهما حتي اليوم مع الإسلام منذ آلاف السنين، ولم يتركها الناس بل لها معتنقين حتي يومنا هذا وفي زيادة سواء انت اعترفت بذلك أو لم تعترف، الأهم: كيف ترد علي الشبهات وانت تتعامل مع اليهود والنصاري، بالفعل تارة وبالكلام اخري، وبسكوت مرة ثالثة مع قلب يتألم انك لم تستطع رد هذه الشبهة، إذن عليك التعلم، أأنت من المتعلمين؟ أقصد تجيد القراءة والكتابة؟ ما هذا الهراء؟ مهلاً: أنا لا أمزح، إن أمة اقرأ اليوم بعل الحروب لا تقرأ ، لذا من يحارب الجهل ويعلم أطفال المسلمين حتي لو ثلة صغيرة منهم هو من المجاهدين في هذه الأمة، بارك الله فيه وفي صحته وعمله واولاده وكل غالي عليه في هذه الحياة.

قال تعالي

وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَا أُوتِيَ
النَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ
لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ (١٣٦)
قولوا -أيها المؤمنون- لهؤلاء اليهود والنَّصارى: صدَّقنا بالله الواحد المعبود بحق، وبما أنزل إلينا من القرآن الذي أوحاه الله إلى نبيه ورسوله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وما أنزل من الصحف إلى إبراهيم وابنيه إسماعيل وإسحاق، وإلى يعقوب والأسباط -وهم الأنبياء مِن ولد يعقوب الذين كانوا في قبائل بني إسرائيل الاثنتي عشرة- وما أُعطي موسى من التوراة، وعيسى من الإنجيل، وما أُعطي الأنبياء جميعًا من وحي ربهم، لا نفرق بين أحد منهم في الإيمان، ونحن خاضعون لله بالطاعة والعبادة.

فَإِنْ آمَنُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا آمَنتُم
بِهِ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوا ۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِي شِقَاقٍ ۖ
فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (١٣٧)
فإنْ آمن الكفار من اليهود والنصارى وغيرهم بمثل الذي آمنتم به، مما جاء به الرسول، فقد اهتدوا إلى الحق، وإن أعرضوا فإنما هم في خلاف شديد، فسيكفيك الله -أيها الرسول- شرَّهم وينصرك عليهم، وهو السميع لأقوالكم، العليم بأحوالكم

صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ
مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ عَابِدُونَ (١٣٨)
الزموا دين الله الذي فطركم عليه، فليس هناك أحسنُ مِن فطرة الله التي فطر الناس عليها، فالزموها وقولوا نحن خاضعون مطيعون لربنا في اتباعنا ملَّة إبراهيم.

DNA
يعد الحمض النووي مكانًا لتخزين المعلومات، وهو يعطي التعليمات اللازمة لصناعة جزيئات أكبر تسمى البروتينات (Proteins)، حيث يتم تخزين هذه التعليمات في جميع خلايا الجسم
RNA
هو جزيء حيوي يتواجد تقريبًا لدى كل الكائنات الحية والفيروسات، كما يلعب أدوارًا متعددة في نقل وتشفير وفك تشفير وتنظيم التعبير عن المعلومات الوراثية وتحفيز العديد من التفاعلات الكيميائية
ماذا أقصد؟
يقول الله تعالي (صبغة الله ومن أحسن من الله صبغة) سبحانك ربي: ما احسن من الله صبغة، العلماء الأجلاء وصفوا لنا هذه الصبغة علي عدة أقوال: منها أنها الفطرة وان كل عضو من أعضاء الجسد يعرف وظيفته بالفطرة كما تعرف الكائنات الحية وظيفتها بالفطرة ، وقالوا: أن الفطرة هي دين الإسلام لأنه لا يحارب الفطرة السليمة، فلا هو رهبانية كالمسيحية ولا هو تسيب وتفريط ولا هو تشدد مثل اليهودية بل هو بين بين، أقرب دين للفطرة الإنسانية، وهو كلام يجل ويحترم ، أما بعض علماء اليوم يقولون الذين لهم صلة بالعلوم البيولوجية ، ولهم صلة وخلفية دينية: يقولون: أن الصبغة هي الــ DNA أو RNA يمكنك الرجوع أعلي مرة أخري لقراءة تعريفهم، ومن تعريفهم تعلم أنهم يتخللون كل خلايا الجسم و معلومات الإنسان كلها مكتوبة عليه سواء المشفرة أو غير المشفرة ، وكأنها صبغة متخللة كل أنسجة الخلايا، بالطبع الله يعلم مراده ونحن لا نعلم، نحن فقط ننقل ما قرأناه ، وبالطبع نحن لله تعالي عابدون سواء فهمنا مراده من الآيات أو لم نفهم .
قال تعالي
قُلْ أَتُحَاجُّونَنَا فِي اللَّهِ
وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ
وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُخْلِصُونَ (١٣٩)
قل -أيها الرسول لأهل الكتاب-: أتجادلوننا في توحيد الله والإخلاص له، وهو رب العالمين جميعًا، لا يختص بقوم دون قوم، ولنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم، ونحن لله مخلصو العبادة والطَّاعة لا نشرك به شيئًا، ولا نعبد أحدًا غيره.

قال تعالي
أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا هُودًا أَوْ
نَصَارَىٰ ۗ قُلْ أَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ اللَّهُ ۗ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن
كَتَمَ شَهَادَةً عِندَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا
تَعْمَلُونَ (١٤٠)
بل أتقولون مجادلين في الله: إن إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط- وهم الأنبياء الذين كانوا في قبائل بني إسرائيل الاثنتي عشرة من ولد يعقوب- كانوا على دين اليهود أو النصارى؟ وهذا كذب؛ فقد بُعِثوا وماتوا قبل نزول التوراة والإنجيل. قل لهم -أيها الرسول-: أأنتم أعلم بدينهم أم الله تعالى؟ وقد أخبر في القرآن بأنهم كانوا حنفاء مسلمين، ولا أحد أظلم منكم حين تخفون شهادة ثابتة عندكم من الله تعالى، وتدَّعون خلافها افتراء على الله. وما الله بغافل عن شيء من أعمالكم، بل هو مُحْصٍ لها ومجازيكم عليها.

تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا
مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا
يَعْمَلُونَ (١٤١)
تلك أُمَّة من أسلافكم قد مضَتْ، لهم أعمالهم ولكم أعمالكم، ولا تُسْألون عن أعمالهم، وهم لا يُسْألون عن أعمالكم. وفي الآية قطع للتعلق بالمخلوقين، وعدم الاغترار بالانتساب إليهم، وأن العبرة بالإيمان بالله وعبادته وحده، واتباع رسله، وأن من كفر برسول منهم فقد كفر بسائر الرسل.

تلك أمة قد خلت: من اليهود والنصاري؟ ليسوا كلهم بل من كان يتحدث عنهم الله تعالي؟ ولماذا يحدثنا سبحانه وتعالي عن كل اليهود والنصاري إذن؟ سبحانه وتعالي يقول في آية اخري (ليسوا سواءا ) فليس كل النصاري واليهود علي نفس الشاكلة ، بل منهم الطيب والشرير والخبيث واللئيم والمؤمن ، هو فقط لا يعلم كل العلم ولو تعلم لعلم الحق، وإن لم يتعلم وتشبث فهو كاتم للحق ، أي ما كان هذه أمة قد خلت، أما من تراه من اليهود والنصاري اليوم وامس وغدا أحفاد هذه الأمة وليس هم المعنيين، وإن كانت الصفات تتوارث في الجينات من الDNA و الــ RNA والله أعلم ، لأهم لهذه الأمة ما كسبته ايديهم، وانتم ايضا لكم ما كسبته ايديكم ، ولا تسألون عما كانوا يفعلون، أسمعت - أفهمت عن الله: لن تُسأل عما كانوا يفعلون.
عزيزي القاري: دمت بخير
God Almighty said:
وَقَالُوا كُونُوا هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ (١٣٥)
And they said, "Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided." Say, "Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, upright, and he was not of the polytheists."
The Jews said to the nation of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "Enter the religion of Judaism and you will find guidance." And the Christians said the same to them. Say to them, O Messenger: "Rather, guidance is for us all to follow the religion of Abraham, who turned away from every false religion to the religion of truth, and he was not of the polytheists."
A Look at the Noble Verse
This is what the Jews and Christians always say to Muslims, if not in words, then in actions. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, foretold this in the noble hadith narrated by Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "You will follow the ways of those before you, inch by inch, cubit by cubit, to the point that if they were to enter a lizard's hole, you would enter it too." We said: "O Messenger of Allah, the Jews and Christians?" The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Then who?" (Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim) If you investigate the matter, you will find that Muslim youth are closely related in appearance to Western youth. If a girl were not wearing a hijab, you would never know her from a non-Muslim woman. Young men have the same hairstyle, the same clothes, and even the same preferred foods and perhaps the same car brands they drive, etc. If this happened (and it did happen), we would follow the Jews and Christians and follow their call to which they called. Words would be of no use to us, so actions took their toll. However, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, responded to the Christians and Jews by saying: “Say, O Muhammad, to the Muslims: Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists.” Here are two points to consider:
1- The religion of our father Abraham, which we know from the previous aspect: His entire life, from his early childhood and his opposition to all his people, proclaiming his monotheism and his disapproval of what his people did in worshipping idols, until his last breaths while he was on his deathbed, admonishing his sons and his grandson Jacob, peace be upon him, “Whoever wants safety from the Muslims, this is it.” The true role model, and Muhammad, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, is nothing but the completion and final building block of the tolerant Hanafi faith, and God knows best. 2- The second point: It is that no doubt should be said to you that you can refute this true religion in front of the Jews, Christians, or any other religion (earthly religions) unless you have an argument for it and an effective refutation. I hear you say: I do not believe in earthly religions to begin with. My dear: Just because you do not believe in their existence does not mean that they do not exist. They do exist, and perhaps Allah Almighty spoke a lot in the Holy Quran about the Jews and Christians because they are the two religions that have been competing in their existence with Islam for thousands of years until today. People did not abandon them, but rather they have adherents to this day and are increasing, whether you admit it or not. The most important thing: How do you respond to doubts when you are dealing with Jews and Christians? Sometimes with action, other times with words, and a third time in silence, with a heart that is aching that you could not refute this doubt. So you have to learn. Are you educated? I mean, can you read and write? What is this nonsense? Wait, I'm not joking. The nation of "Read" today is the father of wars, and it doesn't read. Therefore, whoever fights ignorance and educates Muslim children, even a small group of them, is a mujahid in this nation. May God bless him, his health, his work, his children, and everyone dear to him in this life.

God Almighty said:

We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him." (136)
Say, O believers, to these Jews and Christians: We believe in the One God, truly worshipped, and in what was revealed to us of the Qur'an, which God revealed to His Prophet and Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and in what was revealed of the scriptures to Abraham and his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, and to Jacob. The tribes—the prophets from the descendants of Jacob who were among the twelve tribes of the Children of Israel—and the Torah given to Moses, the Gospel given to Jesus, and all the prophets given by their Lord’s revelation—we make no distinction between any of them in faith, and we submit to God in obedience and worship.
A Look at the Holy Verse
God Almighty teaches the believer their argument before the Jews and Christians: Say (i.e., do not stand idly by) Say, "We believe." Recite with me what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord.
That is, seven honorable prophets in the sight of God Almighty, honorable to His believing servants, as well as the rest of the prophets (all of God's honorable prophets, from our master Noah, peace be upon him, to our master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him). Most importantly, read the rest of the Holy Verse: (And We make no distinction between any of them), then devote yourself to God Almighty. We do not worship prophets, no matter how honorable they are in the sight of God Almighty. God Almighty then follows up by saying, (And we are sincere to Him).
Say, O believers, to these Jews and Christians: We believe in the One God, truly worshipped, and in what was revealed to us of the Qur'an, which God revealed to His Prophet and Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and in what was revealed of the scriptures to Abraham and his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, and to Jacob. The tribes - the prophets from the descendants of Jacob who were among the twelve tribes of the Children of Israel - and what was given to Moses from the Torah, and to Jesus from the Gospel, and what was given to all the prophets from the revelation of their Lord, we do not differentiate between any of them in faith, and we are subject to God in obedience and worship.
God Almighty said:
فَإِنْ آمَنُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا آمَنتُم بِهِ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوا ۖ وَّإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا هُمْ فِي شِقَاقٍ ۖ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللَّهُ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (١٣٧)
If they believe in the same as you believe, they are rightly guided. But if they turn away, they are only in dissension. And God will suffice you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing. (137)
If the disbelievers among the Jews, Christians, and others believe in the same as you believe in what the Messenger brought, then they have been guided to the truth. But if they turn away, then they are only in severe disagreement. So, God will suffice you, O Messenger, against their evil and grant you victory over them. He is the Hearer of your words and the Knower of your conditions.
A Look at the Noble Verse
Then God Almighty returns the conversation to the Master of the Prophets and Messengers - our Master Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and says to him: Close the two parts of this dialogue: (If they believe in the same "What you believe in has been guided." And vice versa, so do not be sad, for they are divided. Each group is on a different side, or the Jews are on a different side and the Christians are on another. Perhaps, as God Almighty said, you think they are all united (you see a unified currency and passports using ID cards, nothing more, and other facilities). Are they truly united? Anyone who sees Muslims will find us Shiites and Sunnis, while the Shiites have split into several factions. Anyone who sees us from the outside will say, "You think they are united!!! but their hearts are diverse." What is this? Are you talking about Islam? Yes, I know. But God Almighty did not mention the Jews (a full third of the Quran) for your amusement, so that you memorize the Quran with its various recitations, nor sing, nor ... And after you tell them that, what will happen? Will they leave you alone? Without trying to corrupt your faith?
Some of them were born as Christians or Jews, and could not become Muslims like you? Do you think this will pass without a trace and you are the lucky one and they are not? When you do what you are truly required to do and for the sake of Allah, not for the sake of your own desires, Allah will suffice you against them. But if your own desires enter into the matter, then blame no one but yourself, for He is the All-Hearing. All-Hearing of what is going on in your mind and theirs at the same time. (Al-Muheet: Glory be to Him, the Most High). All-Knowing: not All-Aware, the Absolute All-Knowing. Today, at the end of the twenty-first century, the earth is teeming with science. Here are atomic scientists, here are astrophysicists, here are geologists, here, here, and here. This is in addition to scientific robots. Yesterday, we used to say that if someone got a doctorate, we would consider him a true scientist. Today, even if he did post-doctoral studies, he is still a learner, and next to robots or even Mr. Google, we understand the true meaning of the noble verse: (And above every possessor of knowledge is the All-Knowing).
God Almighty said:
صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ عَابِدُونَ (١٣٨)
The dye of God, and who is better than God at dyeing? And we are His worshippers. (138)
Adhere to the religion of God upon which He created you, for there is nothing better than the nature of God upon which He created mankind. So adhere to it and say, "We are submissive and obedient to our Lord in following the religion of Abraham."
A look of the Verse
DNA
DNA is a storage site for information. It provides the instructions for the manufacture of larger molecules called proteins. These instructions are stored in all cells of the body.
RNA
Is a biomolecule found in virtually all living organisms and viruses. It plays multiple roles in transmitting, encoding, decoding, and regulating the expression of genetic information and catalyzing numerous chemical reactions.
What do I mean?
Allah the Almighty says (The dye of Allah, and who is better than Allah at dyeing?) Glory be to You, my Lord! What is better than Allah at dyeing? The eminent scholars have described this dye to us in several sayings: One of them is that it is the innate nature and that every organ of the body knows its function by innate nature, just as living beings know their function by innate nature. They said: The innate nature is the religion of Islam because it does not fight against sound innate nature. It is neither monasticism like Christianity, nor is it laxity and neglect, nor is it extremism like Judaism. Rather, it is in between, the religion closest to human innate nature, and these are words that are revered and respected. As for some scholars today, those who are connected to biological sciences, and have a religious connection and background, they say: The dye is DNA or RNA. You can go back above again to read their definition. From their definition, you learn that they permeate every cell in the body and all of a person’s information is written on it, whether encoded or not, as if it is a dye permeating every tissue of the cells. Of course, Allah knows what He intends, and we do not. We only transmit what we have read, and of course, we worship Allah the Almighty, whether we understand what He intends from the verses or not.
God Almighty said:
قُلْ أَتُحَاجُّونَنَا فِي اللَّهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ وَلَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُخْلِصُونَ (١٣٩)
Say, "Do you argue with us about God, while He is our Lord and your Lord? And to us are our deeds, and to you are your deeds, and we are sincere to Him?" (139)
Say, O Messenger, to the People of the Book: "Do you argue with us about the Oneness of God and our sincerity to Him, while He is the Lord of all the worlds, not exclusive to any people. And to us are our deeds, and to you are your deeds. And we are sincere in our worship and obedience to God, associating nothing with Him, nor worshipping anyone besides Him?"
A Look at the Holy Verse
God Almighty says, completing what He says to the believers as an argument against the Christians and Jews: (Say, "Do you argue with us about God? What is argumentation then?" It is quarreling. The Arabic proverb says, "Only those with great minds can engage in debate." So why belittle yourself by not having knowledge and understanding of this religion?) The Holy Verse continues: And He is our Lord and your Lord: meaning, your Lord, whether you acknowledge that or not. And for us is our work or the deeds we perform day and night, and for you, O Jews and Christians, are your deeds. As for us, as Muslims, we are, by God's permission, sincere to Him.
God Almighty said:
أَمْ تَقُولُونَ إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطَ كَانُوا هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَىٰ ۗ قُلْ أَأَنتُمْ أَعْلَمُ أَمِ اللَّهُ ۗ وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَتَمَ شَهَادَةً عِندَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ (١٤٠)
Or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes were Jews or Christians? Say, "Are you more knowing, or is God?" And who is more unjust than one who conceals a testimony he has from God? And God is not unaware of what you do.
Rather, do you say, disputing about God, that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes—the prophets who were among the twelve tribes of the Children of Israel from the descendants of Jacob—were Jews or Christians? This is a lie. They were sent and died before the Torah and the Gospel were revealed. Say to them, O Messenger: Are you more knowledgeable about their religion than God Almighty? The Qur'an tells us that they were monotheists and Muslims. No one is more unjust than you when you conceal a testimony you have from God Almighty and claim otherwise, falsely accusing Him. God is not unaware of any of your deeds; rather, He is recording them and rewarding you for them.
A look of the Noble Verse
Or do you say, O community of Jews and Christians, that God's noble prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, were from among you, Jews or Christians? He asks them a valid question: Are you more knowledgeable than God? Of course, God does not wait for their response, and He, the Almighty, says to them, "And who is more unjust than he who conceals a testimony he has from God?" There are injustices in this life. He sees good in you and says, "I have only seen evil." This is part of the injustice that a person oppresses his fellow human being. I am not saying that a Muslim oppresses his fellow Muslim. There are those who break people's joy, cut off their livelihood, and envy their brother's wealth, and these are also injustices. There are those who kill, steal, and commit adultery, and these are also injustice. Life is full of injustices. But God Almighty says, "And who is more unjust than he who conceals a testimony he has from God?" And after this are words from the Qur'an. It is only mentioned in the Qur'an, to the best of our limited knowledge, in three places, including this one, which is concealing testimony. Who conceals testimony, and why? Jews and Christians are concealers of testimony: The testimony of truth that God Almighty is One, without partner, and whoever follows their example will be like them. Just remember the hadith we included at the beginning of this page of the Qur'an: "You will surely follow the ways of those who came before you." So if you know good and conceal it and only reveal evil, or know something that will acquit someone and conceal it, or something else, we will not say about you that you are a false witness, but rather a concealer of testimony, and before God Almighty, you are one of the most unjust people in His view, glory be to Him, even if you are a Muslim. So, do not let the mention of Jews and Christians make you forget that you are the one addressed in this Qur'an: "O virtuous Muslim."
And God is not unaware of what you do: Why? God Almighty is Wise, and this is one of His most important attributes, glory be to Him. And the conclusion of the verse—any verse has a close connection to its text—is what you think about the conclusion of this verse? The answer is in your paper.
God Almighty said,
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ (١٤١)
"That is a nation that has passed away. It shall have what it earned, and you shall have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do." (141)
That is a nation of your forefathers that has passed away. They shall have their deeds, and you shall have your deeds. You will not be asked about their deeds, and they will not be asked about yours. This verse emphasizes the importance of attachment to created beings and not being deceived by their affiliation. It emphasizes that the criterion lies in belief in God, worshipping Him alone, and following His messengers. Whoever disbelieves in one of their messengers has disbelieved in all the other messengers.
An Overview of the Noble Verse
That is a nation that has passed away: Who were the Jews and Christians? Not all of them, but those whom God Almighty spoke about? And why does He, Glory be to Him, speak to us about all the Jews and Christians, then? God Almighty says in another verse (They are not all alike), not all Christians and Jews are the same. Rather, among them are the good, the evil, the malicious, the mean, and the faithful. It's just that they don't know everything, and if they did, they would know the truth. If they didn't learn and persisted, then they are concealing the truth. That is, this was not a nation that passed away. As for the Jews and Christians you see today, yesterday, and tomorrow, they are the descendants of this nation, and they are not the ones meant. Even though traits are inherited in genes from DNA and RNA, and God knows best, what is most important to this nation is what their hands have earned, and you too will have what your hands have earned. You will not be asked about what they used to do. Did you hear? Did you understand about God: You will not be asked about what they used to do.
