قال تعالي
وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (١٢٧)
واذكر
إبراهيم وإسماعيل, في حالة رفعهما القواعد من البيت الأساس, واستمرارهما على هذا
العمل العظيم، وكيف كانت حالهما من الخوف والرجاء, حتى إنهما مع هذا العمل دعوا
الله أن يتقبل منهما عملهما, حتى يحصل فيه النفع العميم.

رَبَّنَا
وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ
وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ (١٢٨)
ربنا واجعلنا ثابتَيْن على الإسلام، منقادَيْن لأحكامك، واجعل من ذريتنا أمة منقادة لك، بالإيمان، وبصِّرْنا بمعالم عبادتنا لك، وتجاوز عن ذنوبنا. إنك أنت كثير التوبة والرحمة لعبادك
رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ. (١٢٩)
وَمَن
يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلَّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ ۚ وَلَقَدِ
اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (١٣٠)
مَنْ يَرْغَبُ عَنْ مِلَّةِ إِبْراهِيمَ إِلَّا مَنْ سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ معناه: لا أحد من الناس يكره ملة إبراهيم وينصرف عنها إلى الشرك بالله، إلا من امتهن نفسه، واستخف بها وظلمها بسوء رأيه حيث ترك طريق الحق إلى طريق الضلالة. يقال رغب لي كذا إذا أراده، ورغب عن كذا إذا كرهه وانصرفت عنه نفسه والملة في الأصل الطريقة، وغلب إطلاقها على أصول الدين من حيث إن صاحبها يصل عن طريقها إلى دار السلام وسفه نفسه امتهنها واستخف بها. ثم بين الله-تبارك وتعالى- منزلة نبيه إبراهيم- عليه السلام- وخطأ من يرغب عن طريقته المثلى فقال تعالى: وَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْناهُ فِي الدُّنْيا وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ أى: ولقد اخترناه للرسالة وهداية الناس وإرشادهم في الدنيا، وإنه في الآخرة لمن الصالحين المستقيمين على الطريقة المثلى. فمن يرغب عن ملة من هذا شأنه إلى غيرها من طرق الضلال لا يماثله أحد في سفهه وسوء رأيه.
قال تعالي
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (١٣١)
أى: اصطفى
الله-تبارك وتعالى- إبراهيم لأنه أمره بطاعته وإسلام وجهه إليه في كل حال فبادر
إلى الامتثال وقال أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ أى: أخلصت ديني لله الذي فطر
الخلق جميعا.
قال تعالي
وَوَصَّىٰ
بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ
لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ (١٣٢)
وحثَّ إبراهيمُ ويعقوبُ أبناءهما على الثبات على الإسلام قائلَيْن: يا أبناءنا إن الله اختار لكم هذا الدين- وهو دين الإسلام الذي جاء به محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم- فلا تفارقوه أيام حياتكم، ولا يأتكم الموت إلا وأنتم عليه.
أَمْ
كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا
تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ آبَائِكَ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ
مُسْلِمُونَ (١٣٣)
أكنتم أيها اليهود حاضرين حين جاء الموتُ يعقوبَ، إذ جمع أبناءه وسألهم ما تعبدون من بعد موتي؟ قالوا: نعبد إلهك وإله آبائك إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق إلهًا واحدًا، ونحن له منقادون خاضعون
تِلْكَ
أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا
تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ (١٣٤)
تلك أُمَّة من أسلافكم قد مضَتْ، لهم أعمالهم، ولكم أعمَالكم، ولا تُسْألون عن أعمالهم، وهم لا يُسْألون عن أعمالكم، وكلٌّ سيجازى بما فعله، لا يؤاخذ أحد بذنب أحد، ولا ينفعُ أحدًا إلا إيمانُه وتقواه
God Almighty said:
وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (١٢٧)
And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House, [saying], "Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing." (127)
Remember Abraham and Ishmael, when they were raising the foundations of the House, and their persistence in this great work, and how they were in a state of fear and hope, to the point that they even prayed to God to accept their work so that it would bring about universal benefit.
A Look at the Holy Verse
And when it was raised (i.e., at the spark of the beginning), God Almighty began to count the righteous deeds of our master Abraham and his son Ishmael, peace be upon them. But why didn't God Almighty mention the raising of the House while he was in the middle of his work on it, or even nearing completion, as we do? For example, when we are just beginning to build a building, we don't really know whether it will come to light as we wished or not? We don't know the truth, but the mention of the initial spark here came from God Almighty's confirmation of the moment, glory be to Him, and from another perspective, from Ishmael and his son, peace be upon them. Here we must learn that the initial spark of an action, "the intention," is more important than the action itself. As they say, "There is no action without a purpose for benefit behind it." Let our intention at the beginning of our actions be "an intention for goodness, blessing, and acceptance of the action." What matters is not the action itself, but rather the acceptance. God Almighty says, "So it was accepted from one of them, but not from the other." He also says in the story of Al Imran, "The parents of Mary the Virgin," and her Lord accepted her with good acceptance. Therefore, what matters is two things at the beginning of every action.
1- Praying for acceptance at the initial spark
2- Hoping for acceptance
Because God Almighty is the All-Hearing of what goes on in our minds, and He is All-Knowing of all our affairs, whether sincerely for God Almighty or tainted by impurity.
God Almighty said:
رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ (١٢٨)
Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepter of repentance, the Merciful. (128)
Our Lord, make us steadfast in Islam, obedient to Your rulings, and make from our descendants a nation obedient to You in faith. Show us the signs of our worship of You and forgive our sins. Indeed, You are the One who is abundant in repentance and mercy toward Your servants.
A Look at the Noble Verse
Then our Master Abraham, peace be upon him, did not finish praying for acceptance. Rather, he saw it as a good start for him and his descendants after him to be a Muslim nation: one that submits to God's will and destiny in His creation, in themselves, and in life. He also asked, by way of supplication, to learn the rituals according to the Islamic method (the Hajj rituals) and to seek repentance, for He is the Accepter of Repentance, the Most Merciful. But why repent when he has been working sincerely for God Almighty from the beginning, seeking acceptance? Actions may begin with sincerity and acceptance from God Almighty, then vanity or hypocrisy enter them—these are the nullifiers of action—and the action is lost without reward or even in the wrath of God—God forbid. Therefore, it is said that actions begin with a prayer of sincerity, then in the middle, ask for acceptance, and at the end, seek forgiveness after completion, which is the master of the situation. And God is Most High and All-Knowing.
God Almighty said
"رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمْ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ" (129)
"Our Lord, and send among them a Messenger from themselves." He recites to them Your verses and teaches them the Book and wisdom and purifies them. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (129)
Our Lord, send to this nation a Messenger from the descendants of Ishmael who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and purify them from polytheism and bad morals. You are the Mighty, from whom nothing is impossible, the Wise, who places things in their proper places.
A Look at the Noble Verse
It seems that our Master Abraham, peace be upon him, did not suffice with one or two supplications. Rather, acceptance was the opening of a series of sincere supplications to God Almighty, sincerely and heartfelt. It doesn't matter what the form of the supplication is, whether the supplication is rhymed, whether you raise your hands to the sky or rub against the curtains of the Kaaba. What matters most is that you supplicate as the prophets did, sincerely from the heart, following one another, beginning with a request for acceptance, followed by everything you desire, and in the middle, a request for forgiveness (repentance). So, do you supplicate in this manner?
1. Asking for acceptance
2. Asking for sincere repentance and forgiveness
3. Supplicating abundantly for all needs
4. Glorifying God Almighty with His beautiful names, such as the Mighty, the Wise
Pray, my brother, as one in need of injustice. Pray with certainty of an answer. Ask for forgiveness and glorify God. Don't expect anything; instead, send this supplication. To the land of reward, and the land of reward will either come to you quickly or after a while, but it is a generous land that does not leave the one who seeks its help alone in this life.
God Almighty said:
وَمَن يَرْغَبُ عَن مِّلَّةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلَّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفْسَهُ ۚ وَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنَاهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ (١٣٠)
"And who would abandon the religion of Abraham except he who makes a fool of himself? And We had certainly chosen him in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter, he will be among the righteous." (130)
"Who would abandon the religion of Abraham except he who makes a fool of himself?" means: No one among people would hate the religion of Abraham and turn away from it to associate partners with God, except for those who have despised themselves, belittled themselves, and wronged themselves through their bad opinion, abandoning the path of truth for the path of misguidance. It is said, "He desired something for me," if he desired it, and "he disliked something" if he disliked it and turned away from it. Religion, in its original sense, is a path. It is often used to refer to the fundamentals of religion, as its adherents reach the abode of peace through it. Foolishness in his soul means disdain and disdain for it. Then Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, explained the status of His Prophet Abraham, peace be upon him, and the error of those who turn away from His ideal path, saying, "And We had certainly chosen him in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter, he will be among the righteous." Meaning, "We had certainly chosen him for the message, guiding and directing people in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter, he will be among the righteous, upright on the ideal path." Whoever turns away from a religion of this nature for other paths of misguidance, no one can match him in his foolishness and bad opinion.
A Look at the Holy Verse
Then God Almighty comments on the situation of our Master Abraham. God loves our Master Abraham, peace be upon him, and out of His great love for him, He tells us: Whoever averses to, or willingly distances himself from, the way Abraham, peace be upon him, lived his life is foolish. A fool is someone who is not rational and does not manage wealth well. Then He also says: And We chose him in this world. What does "choice" mean, then? It is the selection or designation of a specific person for a specific task. So, what was the mission of the father of the prophets, Abraham, peace be upon him? Was his mission to deliver God's message on earth, to his people in particular or to all people in general? Don't you think that the Hajj and its rituals are due to Abraham and Ishmael, peace be upon them? We, the servants of heaven, believe in all the messengers and prophets, as the beloved Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said in the hadith of the brick that was the only place where the building was not completed. He said of his noble self: "I am the Seal of the Prophets, and I am the brick." More importantly: Have you turned away from the way of the father of the prophet, Abraham, peace be upon him? Or are you still following his path? So, what is his approach? Is it supplication in this manner that came above? No, rather when you take someone as a role model, you take him and his entire life story as a beacon for you. Were the trials of Abraham, peace be upon him, since he was approximately sixteen years old, normal trials: confronting his people, being thrown into the fire, migrating from his original country to another country, not knowing if he would return to his homeland or not? And that is what happened, my brother: Our master Ibrahim, peace be upon him: He has a fiery story in his childhood, and his end was bright in the end. Don’t you see that you, you, greet him at least 5 times a day and night, in the greetings in the obligatory prayers? Ibrahim, peace be upon him, did not shake in the face of the storms “trials.” It is said that the believer is like a palm tree, the winds blow it to the right ONCE AND TO THE LEFT ONCE AGAIN, blow it, but it is firmly rooted in the ground. As for the hypocrite and the disbeliever, may God Almighty protect you and us from being like them, like a pine tree that is not shaken by the wind, but if they want to get rid of it, it is cut in half with a strong saw into one piece. The most important thing: if you do not want to turn away from the WAY of Ibrahim, peace be upon him, then be like a palm tree: the trials of life bring you to the right, sadness and fear that almost splits the liver, but the roots of your faith are deep and do not shake what is above the surface of the soil, then the winds bring you to the left, so never lose your faith, and do not forget God Almighty, and do not blame Him, even an internal blame about What happened in your life journey, this is the way of Abraham, peace be upon him. Now you know: Why do I ask you, are you on the way of Abraham, a monotheist, and was he not among the polytheists?
God Almighty said:
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ أَسْلِمْ ۖ قَالَ أَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (١٣١)
When his Lord said to him, "Submit," he said, "I have submitted to the Lord of the Worlds." (131)
That is, God Almighty chose Abraham because He commanded him to obey Him and submit to Him in every situation. He hastened to comply and said, "I have submitted to the Lord of the Worlds," meaning, "I have devoted my religion to God, who created all of creation."
A Look at the Verse
The reason for this choice was his hastening to submission without hesitation, when his Lord said to him, "Submit yourself to God, submitting to Him." Abraham responded and said, "I have submitted to the Lord of the Worlds," out of sincerity, monotheism, love, and repentance.
God Almighty said:
أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ (١٣٣)
And Abraham enjoined it upon his sons, and so did Jacob, [saying], "O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except as Muslims." 132
Abraham and Jacob urged their sons to remain steadfast in Islam, saying: "O our sons, Allah has chosen for you this religion—which is the religion of Islam brought by Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him—so do not depart from it during your lives, and death will not come to you except while you are upon it."
A Look at the Holy Verse
And Abraham enjoined it upon his sons and upon Jacob, his grandson from Isaac, peace be upon them. Our Master Abraham is now grown, and the Book is nearing its end, and will soon be closed. His only concern in life is not distributing the inheritance during his lifetime—no, no. Rather, he is distributing the prophetic inheritance to his grandson before his son, peace be upon them. I now know that our father Abraham's supplication was sincere from the heart when he said, "And make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You." He prayed in his adulthood for the righteousness of his offspring, and God granted him long life to advise the adult offspring at that time, and he was not a child, our Master Jacob, peace be upon them. You only have to honest to God, and He will honest you. It doesn't matter how many supplications you make while looking at the bird. So, what is the story of the bird? There was a man among the previous nations who used to wake up early in the morning and pray the prayer of his heavenly religion, and Allah Almighty loved him very much, and there was a bird with a soft voice standing on a tree near his house, so this man was impressed by the bird's voice and was pained by its absence one day, so Allah became angry with this man, do you know why? Because he was delighted by the bird's voice, and is this forbidden? No, rather because the bad deeds of those who are close to Allah are the good deeds of the righteous. What I really mean, whether this story is true or metaphorical, is that Allah Almighty brings you close and brings you near if you are truthful, so what matters is truthfulness, not precedence. And the commandment was (Do not die except as Muslims) Is this a natural commandment from the father of the prophets to prophets like him - peace be upon them all? So, what about us while we live in tribulations that fill the hearing, sight, and heart around us and within ourselves???
God Almighty said
أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن بَعْدِي قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ (١٣٣)
Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac - one God, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him." (133)
Were you, O Jews, present when death approached Jacob, when he gathered his sons and asked them, "What will you worship after my death?" They said, "We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac - one God. We are submissive to Him."
A Look at the Holy Verse
The days and years passed, and the grandson grew up until he was nearing the end of his life as well. He did as his grandfather had done. Oh, grandfathers! If only you knew how to truly influence your grandchildren, be righteous, because your memory will continue through this grandson whether he does good or corrupt things in this life. Jacob, peace be upon him, said to his sons, as his grandfather had said to him: "He said to them, 'What will you worship after me?'" The response was ready: "The brothers of Joseph, peace be upon him." They said, "We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac - one God. We are Muslims [in submission] to Him." This was after they repented from the story of Joseph, peace be upon him. My dear brother: There are defining moments in this life that differentiate between two happy and miserable days or lives. There are moments in which a person is more honest than others (when he is deeply saddened, when he is deeply afraid, when he loses a loved one). And of course, the moment you see a person departing this life. The absurd life closes his book and with it his good or bad deeds are closed.
His good or bad deeds will be recorded with him. He will be more truthful with you than any other moment he lived in life, giving you the summary of his book in moments. Therefore, whoever lives on something will die on it. May Allah make our end good and our book blessed, and conclude our deeds with good deeds, and grant people a truthful reputation among us, following the religion of our father, or rather, the father of the prophets - Abraham, peace be upon him.
Allah, the Most High, said
تِلْكَ أُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۖ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُم مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۖ وَلَا تُسْأَلُونَ عَمَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ (١٣٤)
“That is a nation that has passed on. It shall have what it earned, and you shall have what you have earned. And you will not be asked about what they used to do.” (134)
That is a nation of your forefathers that has passed on. They shall have their deeds, and you shall have your deeds. You will not be asked about their deeds, and they will not be asked about your deeds. Everyone will be rewarded for what they did. No one will be held accountable for the sin of another, and no one will benefit anyone except Allah. His faith and piety
A look into the noble verse
That is a nation that has passed away: its matter has come to an end, its records have been sealed, and its years sealed with red wax—if so to speak—they will not be opened for recompense except on the Day of Resurrection, by permission of God Almighty. And you, you, will not be questioned about their actions. So what? About your deeds—about your record—about your book, the truth of which you do not know when, and in a where the land you die on and the book is sealed. May God grant you health and well-being in religion, this world, and the Hereafter.
