وقت ومناسبة نزولها

فضائلها 

أخرج أحمد ومسلم وابن جرير وابن المنذر وابن مردويه عن عمران بن حصين: أن رجلا قال يا رسول الله: أرأيت ما يعمل الناس اليوم ويكدحون فيه، شيء قد قضي عليهم ومضى عليهم في قدر قد سبق، أو فيما يستقبلون ما أتاهم به نبيهم واتخذت عليهم به الحجة؟ قال: بل شيء قضي عليهم. قال: فلم يعملون إذاً؟ قال: من كان الله خلقه لواحدة من المنزلتين هيّأه لعملها، وتصديق ذلك في كتاب الله {ونفس وما سوّاها (7) فألهمها فجورها وتقواها (8)}

وأخرج الطبراني وابن المنذر وابن مردويه عن ابن عباس قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا تلا هذه الآية {ونفس وما سوّاها (7) فألهمها فجورها وتقواها (8) ، وقف ثمّ قال: اللهم آت نفسي تقواها أنت وليها ومولاها وخير من زكّاها.

بدء التفسير 

قبل الشروع في التفسير، نود أن نسأل سؤال يفتح الذهن؟ هذه السورة مكية أليس كذلك؟ أي انها اوائل ما نزل علي أهل مكة (قبيلة قريش) من الإسلام، هل كانوا متعلمين تعليم جيد؟ لا معظمهم أميين، هل كانوا لهم في الفلك أو أي علم لأسرار الكون حتي لو كان كيمياء كما كانت الحضارة المصرية بجانبهم؟ لا فقد كانوا أنقياء من أي حضارة مقامة في هذه البقعة الجغرافية، إذن لماذا معظم الجزء المكي يتحدث عن آيات كونية لناس بدائيين؟ الحقيقة علي قدر فهمنا القاصر: الله تعالي يريد أن يعلو بفكر أهل مكة البدائيين من التفكير في المطعم والمشرب والمنكح إلي آفاق أعلي وأرحب ، فكل الحضارات التي كانت حولهم كانت مشغولة بأكبر من هذه الأشياء البدائية المطعم والمشرب والمنكح ، بالرغم من أنها أساسيات للوجود الجسدي إلا أنها لا ترقي لسمو الوجود النفسي / الروحي ، فمثلا الحضارة المصرية كانوا منشغلين بالكيمياء والسحر، لا نقول ان السحر شيء جيد ولكنه ليس مطعم ومشرب ، شيء منشغلين به، وحضارة سبأ في اليمن كانوا منشغلين بالبناء والتشييد وهكذا .. إذن الله تعالي يريد أن يخرجهم من عبادة الجسد إلي حرية عبادة الله، كثير ما ينشغل الناس بتوفير الطعام والشراب والزواج ثم الأولاد، ومن فرغ من هذه الديلمة في وقت مبكر من الحياة: يفكر فيما هو أعظم ، مثل الحياة المهنية، أو الإتجاه إلي اسئلة وجودية: لماذا انا هنا، لماذا صديقي المقرب تُوفي فجأة؟ لماذا نموت وما الهدف من الحياة؟ قلما من ينشغل بالمطعم والمشرب والمنكح ما يفكر بهذه الطريقة وللثانية خلقنا ولم نخلق للأولي، فالأولي تشترك معنا فيها البهائم. 

قال تعالي 

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 

وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا (1)

 مكية( والشمس وضحاها ) قال مجاهد والكلبي : ضوءها ، والضحى : حين تطلع الشمس ، فيصفو ضوءها ، قال قتادة : هو النهار كله .وقال مقاتل : حرها ، كقوله في طه " ولا تضحى " ، يعني لا يؤذيك الحر .

إطلالة علمية حول الآية 

الشمس، تلك الكرة المضيئة من النار في السماء التي تنير عالمنا وتشعّ الطاقة إليه يوماً بعد يوم. هذه الطاقة، القائمة على تفاعلات الاندماج النووي في نواتها، أساسية لوجود الحياة على كوكبنا. ومن بعض فوائدها التالي 

أ - تُساهم الشمس في الحفاظ على دورة الماء

تبدأ دورة الماء عندما تُسخّن الشمس المحيطات والبحيرات والأنهار، مما يؤدي إلى تبخر الماء. يتشكل من هذا البخار السحب، ثم يعود لاحقًا على شكل مطر أو ثلج، مُكملاً بذلك الدورة الطبيعية.

ب- الشمس مصدر لفيتامين د

يساعد ضوء الشمس بشرتنا على إنتاج فيتامين د، وهو عنصر غذائي أساسي لصحة العظام والمناعة والصحة النفسية.

ج - الشمس تُغذي جميع السلاسل الغذائية

كل كائن حي يعتمد على الطاقة التي تأتي في نهاية المطاف من الشمس.النباتات تمتص ضوء الشمس ← الحيوانات تتغذى على النباتات ← الإنسان يتغذى على كليهما.

د - تأثير الشمس على المناخ

 تُعدّ الشمس المحرك الرئيسي لأنماط الطقس على كوكبنا.تختلف كمية الإشعاع الشمسي التي تصل إلى الأرض على مدار العام نتيجةً لميل محور دوران الأرض ومدارها الإهليلجي حول الشمس. هذه التغيرات الموسمية في الإشعاع الشمسي هي المسؤولة عن فصول السنة، ولها تأثير مباشر على أنماط الطقس، مثل تكوّن مواسم الأمطار والجفاف والظواهر الجوية المتطرفة. وغيرها بالطبع لا يقل عن 50 فائدة لا يتسع المقام لها هنا..

الله تعالي لا يُقسم إلا بعظيم، وهذا العظيم من عمل يده - سبحانه وتعالي - وأنت هل تخلقت بكمال الله، هل تستطيع إذا كنت صاحب منتجات سوقية في أي مجال تتحدث عن منتجك - حرفتك بكل فخر كما الله، عزيزي: الكثير يعيش في دوامه الوظيفيي أو حتي المرأة المتزوجة في بيت الزوجية: بشعار (نقوم بالعمل علي قدر نقودهم) لا علي قدر تحملنا المسؤولية، يقول الإمام الغزالي: إني ليسود وجهي حين أري العمل يخرج من تحت يد الكافر مجوداً متقنا ويخرج من تحت يد المسلم هزيلاً مشوها، ألا فلنحترس. 

وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا (2) 

( والقمر إذا تلاها ) تبعها ، وذلك في النصف الأول من الشهر ، إذا غربت الشمس تلاها القمر في الإضاءة وخلفها في النور وقال الزجاج : وذلك حين استدار ، يعني كمل ضوءه تابعا للشمس في الإنارة وذلك في الليالي البيض .

أ - يُساهم القمر في استقرار دوران الأرض.

يلعب القمر دورًا محوريًا في استقرار ميل محور الأرض، وهو الزاوية بين محور دوران الأرض ومستوى مدارها حول الشمس. يُعدّ هذا الاستقرار ضروريًا للحفاظ على تنظيم مناخ الأرض وموسميته. فبدون وجود القمر، سيتعرض ميل محور الأرض لتغيرات أكبر نتيجةً لتفاعلاته الجاذبية مع الأجرام السماوية الأخرى، كالشمس والكواكب.

يُؤثر استقرار محور الأرض تأثيرًا بالغًا على أنماط المناخ العالمي. إذ يُساعد استقرار ميل المحور على تنظيم توزيع ضوء الشمس عبر خطوط العرض المختلفة على مدار العام، مما يُؤثر بدوره على تدرجات درجات الحرارة، وأنماط دوران الغلاف الجوي، وأنظمة هطول الأمطار. تُشكّل هذه العوامل المناخات الإقليمية وأنماط الطقس، مما يُؤثر على النظم البيئية والزراعة والمجتمعات البشرية.

كما يُؤثر استقرار ميل محور الأرض على الإيقاعات والسلوكيات البيولوجية لدى مختلف الكائنات الحية. تُظهر العديد من الكائنات الحية، بما فيها النباتات والحيوانات والكائنات الدقيقة، دورات موسمية في التكاثر والهجرة وغيرها من الأنشطة الحيوية. غالبًا ما تتزامن هذه الدورات مع تغيرات طول النهار والظروف البيئية الناتجة عن ميل محور الأرض. على سبيل المثال، يتأثر توقيت هجرة الطيور، وإزهار النباتات، ودورات تكاثر الحيوانات بالتغيرات الموسمية في ساعات النهار، والتي ينظمها في نهاية المطاف تأثير القمر المُثبِّت لميل محور الأرض.

ب - يؤثر جاذبياً على المد والجزر في المحيطات

تنشأ قوى المد والجزر نتيجةً لاختلاف قوة الجذب التي يمارسها جرم سماوي على أجزاء مختلفة من الأرض. فالجانب الأقرب إلى القمر من الأرض يتعرض لجاذبية أقوى مقارنةً بمركزها، بينما يتعرض الجانب الآخر لجاذبية أضعف. ويؤدي هذا التفاوت في قوة الجذب إلى تمدد محيطات الأرض، مما يجعلها تنتفخ للخارج من كلا الجانبين، أحدهما مواجه للقمر والآخر على الجانب المقابل من الكوكب.

ج - يُوفّر إضاءة طبيعية ليلية

 إذ يُوفّر انعكاس ضوء الشمس إضاءة طبيعية ليلية. وقد أثّرت هذه الإضاءة بشكلٍ واضح على المجتمعات البشرية والعديد من العمليات البيولوجية. ففي غياب مصادر الإضاءة الاصطناعية، كان القمر تاريخيًا المصدر الرئيسي للإضاءة الليلية للبشرية. ومن المُرجّح أن هذه الإضاءة سهّلت أنشطةً مثل الصيد وجمع الثمار والتفاعل الاجتماعي بعد حلول الظلام. وقد يكون لتوافر ضوء القمر تأثيرٌ على تطوّر البنى الاجتماعية البشرية والممارسات الثقافية. فقد رُبطت رواية القصص والطقوس وحتى التقاويم بالدورة القمرية في العديد من الثقافات.

هـ - القمر هو السبب في أن أيامنا تتكون من 24 ساعة

 تدور الأرض حول محورها بينما تدور حول الشمس. كل دورة من هذه الدورات تمثل يومًا بالنسبة لنا على الأرض. يتأثر هذا الدوران أيضًا بجاذبية الأجرام الأخرى، وكما اتضح، يتأثر بشكل كبير بجاذبية القمر.يُرجح أن القمر قد تشكل نتيجة اصطدام كوكب بحجم المريخ بالأرض. نتج عن هذا الاصطدام قطع ضخمة من الصخور والغبار التي التقطها مدار الأرض، ثم اندمجت معًا بفعل الجاذبية لتشكل القمر.

و - يحفز النشاط الجيولوجي

لا يؤثر جاذبية القمر على المد والجزر في محيطات الأرض فحسب، بل يمارس أيضًا قوى مد وجزر على قشرة الأرض. تساهم هذه القوى المدية بشكل كبير في العمليات الجيولوجية، مثل حركة الصفائح التكتونية والنشاط البركاني، وهي عمليات أساسية لتشكيل سطح الأرض، والحفاظ على دورات المغذيات، ودعم بيئات أرضية متنوعة. وغيرها بالطبع 

الشاهد 

أنس الناس علي مر العصور بضوء القمر فالهم الشعراء والمحبين وغيرها، لكن القليل منا من كان يعرف مثل هذه الفوائد التي جاءت عن القمر أعلي، وهنا نتوقف: صدقاً وعدلاً: لم يخلق الله شيء عبثا، بل كل في دورة تخدم غرض ما لخدمة الإنسان والحيوان والنبات ، وقد قام الصينيون وغيرهم علي الحقيقة بصناعة قمر صناعي هائل الحجم (محاكاة للقمر الطبيعي) ولكن لماذا؟ ليضيء بالليل للناس في الشوارع والمحلات وغيرها ليقللوا من الإنبعاثات الضارة من الإضاءة الإصطناعية، ، نحن لا نعلم أضرار هذا القمر الصناعي، ولا ندري أهو حقق الغرض الذي من أجله صُنع؟ هل يفيد دورة النبات والحيوان والإنسان؟ هل يفعل مثلما يفعل القمر الذي خلقه الله تعالي؟ هل يحتاج إلي صيانة دورية؟ فتبارك الله أحسن الخالقين.

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا (3)

وقوله : ( والنهار إذا جلاها ) قال مجاهد : أضاء . وقال قتادة : ( والنهار إذا جلاها ) إذا غشيها النهار .قال ابن جرير : وكان بعض أهل العربية يتأول ذلك بمعنى : والنهار إذا جلا الظلمة ، لدلالة الكلام عليها .قلت : ولو أن هذا القائل تأول [ ذلك ] بمعنى ( والنهار إذا جلاها ) أي : البسيطة ، لكان أولى ، ولصح [ تأويله في ] قول الله ( والليل إذا يغشاها ) فكان أجود وأقوى ، والله أعلم . ولهذا قال مجاهد : ( والنهار إذا جلاها ) إنه كقوله : ( والنهار إذا تجلى ) [ الليل : 2]. وأما ابن جرير فاختار عود الضمير في ذلك كله على الشمس ، لجريان ذكرها .

الدراسة الأولي عن أهمية ضوء النهار

تأثير الإضاءة الطبيعية في الفصول الدراسية على أداء الطلاب

تبحث هذه الدراسة فيما إذا كان ضوء النهار وجوانب أخرى من البيئة الداخلية للفصول الدراسية تؤثر على تحصيل الطلاب خلال عام دراسي في كليات مختارة بحرم جامعة الملك عبد العزيز في جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية. وتستخدم الدراسة تحليل الارتباط لمقارنة أداء حوالي 400 طالب في 20 فصلاً دراسياً في الكليات المختارة، موزعة على طوابق مختلفة من المباني التعليمية. وقد استُخدم نموذج إحصائي لدراسة العلاقة بين تحسن أداء الطلاب ووجود ضوء النهار في فصولهم الدراسية، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار بعض المتغيرات التعليمية التفسيرية التقليدية.

يُسهم إدخال ضوء النهار بعناية في المباني التعليمية في

 خفض تكاليف التشغيل

 وتحسين رؤية الطلاب وإدراكهم

 وتعزيز صحتهم وراحتهم وإنتاجيتهم

 وبشكل عام، ينبغي أن تحصل الفصول الدراسية على أكبر قدر ممكن من ضوء النهار، مع ضرورة تحكم المصممين في إضاءة المناطق الواقعة ضمن مجال رؤية الطلاب. ويمكن للاستخدام الفعال لضوء النهار في الفصول الدراسية أن يُساعد المباني التعليمية على تحقيق وفورات كبيرة في الطاقة، وزيادة حضور الطلاب، وإظهار المسؤولية البيئية، وتوفير بيئة تعليمية أفضل.

الدراسة الثانية عن أهمية ضوء النهار 

علم ازدياد طول النهار وآثاره المدهشة

أ - الإيقاعات البيولوجية وضوء النهار

يؤثر ازدياد ضوء النهار بشكل كبير على الإيقاعات البيولوجية للإنسان. تتكيف أجسامنا بدقة مع دورات الضوء والظلام، مما يؤثر على تنظيم الهرمونات وأنماط النوم والمزاج. مع ازدياد ساعات النهار، ينتج الجسم المزيد من السيروتونين، المعروف بهرمون السعادة. هذه الزيادة الطبيعية في مستويات السيروتونين قد تؤدي إلى تحسين المزاج وزيادة مستويات الطاقة.\

ب - الاضطراب العاطفي الموسمي (SAD)

على النقيض، قد يؤدي قصر ساعات النهار في فصل الشتاء إلى انخفاض التعرض لأشعة الشمس، مما قد يُسبب الاضطراب العاطفي الموسمي (SAD). يتميز هذا النوع من الاكتئاب بأعراض مثل التعب، والتهيج، والحزن، والتي غالباً ما ترتبط بنقص ضوء النهار. ومع ازدياد طول ساعات النهار، يُبلغ العديد من الأفراد عن تحسن ملحوظ في هذه الأعراض، مما يُبرز الدور المحوري الذي يلعبه ضوء الشمس في الصحة النفسية.

جـ - الآثار الزراعية

لطالما أدرك المزارعون العلاقة بين ضوء النهار ونمو المحاصيل. فزيادة ساعات النهار في فصلي الربيع والصيف لا تزيد فقط من كمية ضوء الشمس المتاحة لعملية التمثيل الضوئي، بل تُطيل أيضًا ساعات العمل الزراعي. وهذا بدوره يُسهم في زيادة الإنتاج، إذ تُتاح للمحاصيل فرصة أكبر للنمو. ولذا، يُخطط العديد من المزارعين مواعيد الزراعة والحصاد بناءً على ساعات النهار، مُحسّنين بذلك عملياتهم الزراعية للاستفادة القصوى من دورة الطبيعة.

هـ - التأثير على النباتات والحيوانات

تؤثر ساعات النهار الممتدة أيضًا على النظم البيئية ككل. تدخل العديد من النباتات في مرحلة نمو سريع، وتزهر بألوان زاهية وهي تستغل طاقة الشمس. كما تتفاعل الحيوانات مع ازدياد ساعات النهار؛ فقد تتغير أنماط الهجرة، وتتأثر مواسم التكاثر، وتتغير سلوكيات البحث عن الطعام. توضح هذه الشبكة المترابطة من الحياة مدى أهمية ضوء الشمس للنظم البيئية لكوكبنا.

و - التغيرات البيئية

بالإضافة إلى تأثيرها على حياة الإنسان والحيوان، قد يكون لطول ساعات النهار آثار بيئية. فزيادة عملية التمثيل الضوئي خلال الأشهر الأكثر سطوعًا قد تؤدي إلى ارتفاع مستويات الأكسجين، مما يُسهم في نمو النباتات بشكل أفضل، وبالتالي دعم التنوع البيولوجي. ومع ذلك، ومع تغير أنماط الطقس نتيجة لتغير المناخ، قد يتغير طول النهار أيضًا، مما يؤثر على كيفية تكيف النظم البيئية بمرور الوقت.

ز - الجوانب الثقافية والاجتماعية

يؤثر تغير ساعات النهار على ثقافتنا وأنشطتنا الاجتماعية وأسلوب حياتنا. فغالبًا ما تؤدي الأيام الأطول إلى زيادة الأنشطة الخارجية، مما يعزز الشعور بالانتماء للمجتمع حيث يجتمع الناس في الحدائق، ويمارسون الرياضة، أو يستمتعون بنزهات هادئة. كما تُقام الاحتفالات والمهرجانات عادةً بالتزامن مع تغير ساعات النهار، مما يُبرز أهمية التحولات الموسمية في حياة الإنسان.

الشاهد 

قد نمر مرور الكرام علي آية وجود النهار وهي نعمة نتمتع بها دون شعور، والله تعالي يقول في كتابه العزيز (سنريهم آياتنا في الآفاق وفي أنفسهم حتي يتبين لهم أنه الحق) وأنت بالتأكيد تعلم أن بعض الدول الإسكندنافية وغيرها مثل أيرلندا الشمالية يصاب ساكنيها باكتئاب يصنف من الأكثر سكان اكتئاب في العالم أجمع ، فقط لأن النهار قصير والليل والغيوم هي التي تسيطر علي المناخ هناك، فالحمد لله علي نعمه من ناحية، ومن ناحية أخري: أننا تأكدنا علمياً بعد التأكد عقدياً أنه لا يقسم إلا بما يفيدنا نحن في حياتنا 

 وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰهَا (4)

وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا أي: يغشى وجه الأرض، فيكون ما عليها مظلمًا.فتعاقب الظلمة والضياء، والشمس والقمر، على هذا العالم، بانتظام وإتقان، وقيام لمصالح العباد، أكبر دليل على أن الله بكل شيء عليم، وعلى كل شيء قدير، وأنه المعبود وحده، الذي كل معبود سواه فباطل

فوائد الظلام

يكمن السر في اتباع الإيقاع الطبيعي للضوء والظلام، أي دورة الـ ٢٤ ساعة من الليل والنهار. (باستثناء سكان المناطق الشمالية أو الجنوبية البعيدة الذين يعانون من ظلام دامس خلال فصل الشتاء). تشير العديد من الدراسات إلى أن ضوء الليل

 يُؤثر على الساعة البيولوجية والنوم

 يحتاج جسمك إلى الظلام للاسترخاء والنوم ليلاً

انتاج الميلاتونين

يُحفز انخفاض مستوى الضوء، وهو مؤشر طبيعي، جسمك على إنتاج الميلاتونين، المعروف بهرمون النوم. يحدث هذا من خلال خلايا متخصصة في عينيك تستشعر الضوء. تُرسل هذه الخلايا إشارات إلى مركز التحكم في ساعتك البيولوجية، النواة فوق التصالبية، لتحديد ما إذا كان نهارًا أم ليلاً - وإذا كنت تُعرّضها لضوء اصطناعي، فإنها لا تُميّز بينهما.

تنظيم الهرمونات

تُعد ساعتك البيولوجية الرئيسية مهمة أيضًا لتنظيم الهرمونات، ومستويات السكر في الدم، والعديد من الوظائف الفسيولوجية الأخرى. قد تُؤدي اضطرابات هذه الدورات إلى مشاكل صحية عديدة، من الاكتئاب واضطرابات الصحة النفسية إلى زيادة الوزن وأمراض القلب والأوعية الدموية، وحتى الموت. نعم: النوم وتنظيم وظائف الجسم الداخلية أمران بالغا الأهمية، فبدونهما تسير نحو الموت أسرع.

أهمية قصوي لبعض الحيوانات والحشرات

الوضع لا يقل خطورة بالنسبة للحشرات والحيوانات، التي تعتمد على الظلام لتحديد الليل والنهار، ولتحقيق هدفها في الطيران والوصول إلى وجهتها - أي لمعرفة ما يجب فعله. إن أسراب الحشرات التي تتجمع حول أضواء الشوارع ليلاً مثالٌ بسيطٌ ومأساويٌ على كيف يُلحق سوء الإضاءة الضرر بالكائنات الحية. بالمناسبة (الحشرات لها أهمية قصوي في النظام البيئي مما يعود عليكك بالمنافع) 

مهم جداً للطيور المهاجرة 

سماء الليل المظلمة تعني أن الطيور المهاجرة لا تستطيع رؤية نجم الشمال، النجم القطبي الذي تدور حوله النجوم الأخرى. هل تريد أن تتجمد تلك الطيور الطنانة اللطيفة لأنها لا تستطيع العثور على طريقها إلى المناطق الدافئة قبل الشتاء؟ 

يمكن للظلام أن يعزز الإبداع.

في الواقع، كشفت دراسات نُشرت في عدد عام ٢٠١٣ من مجلة علم النفس البيئي أن الظلام "يزيد من التحرر من القيود، مما يعزز بدوره الإبداع".كما أظهر البحث أن الظلام "يحفز أسلوبًا جريئًا واستكشافيًا في التفكير".

الظلام مفيد لميزانيتك وللكوكب

 أن انخفاض استهلاكنا للوقود الأحفوري يُسهم في بيئة أكثر صحة.

 وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا (5)

والسماء التي نريد أن نتحدث عنها هي : تلك الأجرام السماوية، الموصوفة “بالبناء”. فقد وصف الله سبحانه وتعالى السماء بأوصاف كثيرة، ووصف ما فيها، ولكن الملاحظ من خلال تتبع الآيات نجد انها تؤكد على أن السماء “بناء” فقد ورد هذا اللفظ ومضمونه في عدة مواضع: (بناء، بنيناها، بناها، وما بناها، طباقا، بغير عمد، تشقق السماء، سقفا محفوظا، ذات الحبك، بروجا وزيناها، ذات الرجع) وهذه الأوصاف كلها، لا تخرج أوصاف الأبنية. فالبناء: يكون له سقف، وحوائط (جدران) وعمدان، وأبواب، و يكون في ذلك السقف زينة، و يكون البناء مترابط، ويكون هذا البناء في مكان محدود وملموس، وقد يكون طوابق متعددة، وقد يكون فيه حراسة، وقد يكون فيه أبراج، وقد يحصل في سقفه شقوق، وكل بناء له طول وله عرض، وكل بناء يكون فيه الإضاءة، فكل الأوصاف السابقة التي تكون في الأبنية، أطلقها القرآن على السماء

والبناء : ما يُرفع سمكه عن الأرض للاتقاء من الحر والبرد والمطر والدواب . ووصف السماء بالبناء جار على طريقة التشبيه.

أولاً: السياق الفقهي 

قال  تعالى

 (أَأَنْتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ بَنَاهَا رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا ) سورة النازعات آية :”27-28″

قبل أن ندخل في التفسير العلمي للآية الكريمة، ارجع ببصرك مرة أخري للآية (أأنتم ... نعم أنت المقصود ونحن وهم وهن) أأنتم أشد خلقا أم السماء، هناك في اليوتيوب فيلم وثائقي قصير يدعي You're not big enough أنصحك برؤيته ، يتحدث عن الكون الفسيح ويبدأ من درب التبانة وكواكبها ثم يدخل علي كوكب الأرض الذي هو لا صغير ولا كبير ، فيبحث عنك، نعم أنت، أنت ونحن وهم لا شيء سوء نقطة لا قيمة لها مطلقا إلا بتقوي الله والخوف منه ، بعد هذا صلاتك - صيامك ..الخ مجرد شكليات إن لم تنفذ علي ارض الواقع، وكلنا هذا الشخص، وانت تتجبر علي احد أو تأذيه وانت متخيل أنك كبير بما يكفي، يكفيك رؤية هذا الفيلم. 

التفسير العلمي 

السماء في اللغة 

 مفرد، وجمعها سماوات

 وهي: كل ما أحاط بالأرض، وهي: سبع سماوات طباق وتطلق السماء على كل ما علا. سواء كان علو قريب كسقف للبيت، أو كالسحاب أو كالغلاف الجوي للأرض أو كسماء الدنيا. أو بعيد كالسماء السابعة، وتطلق على بعض أجزائها، من باب إطلاق الكل و إرادة الجز وتطلق أيضا ويراد بها الكل والسماء : كل ما علاك فأظلك ، ومنه قيل لسقف البيت : سماء . والسماء : المطر ، سمي به لنزوله من السماء

“تمكن العلماء من رصد شبكة واسعة من القنوات الرفيعة المشكلة من غاز هيدروجين يعتقد أنها تربط جميع المجرات في الكون، وذلك للمرة الأولى في تاريخ الفيزياء الفلكية، ويقع هذا الهيكل الكوني العملاق على مسافة 12 مليار سنة ضوئية في كوكبة الدلو” ويدعم هذا الاكتشاف نظرية تشكل المجرات وتطورها وفقا “للنموذج الكوني القياسي”، الذي تنبأ بوجود ما يشبه “السقالة” التي تدعم البناء الكوني.(شبكة كونية) حسب الدراسة العلمية المنشورة في دورية ساينس العلمية في الرابع من أكتوبر/تشرين الأول الجاري؛ فقد تمكن العلماء من العثور على أدلة لوجود قنوات (شعيرات) هيدروجين متعددة تنتشر على مسافة تزيد على ثلاثة ملايين سنة ضوئية، وتربط بين مجموعة كاملة من المجرات.

وتتميز هذه الشبكة بكونها

 باهتة للغاية، مما يجعل من الصعب اكتشافها في الفراغات الموجودة بين المجرات، ويعتقد العلماء أن هذه القنوات بدأت التشكل في وقت مبكر من عمر الكون بُعيد الانفجار الكبير، عندما غمرت سحب غاز الهيدروجين جميع أرجائه، قبل أن تبدأ التكثف بفعل الجاذبية لتكوّن خيوطا متشابكة. 

وجه الإعجاز 

1- التشبيه البليغ والتمثيل في الوصف بالشيء المعلوم

 لما هو غير معلوم ومجهول وهو: البناء سواء كان مثل القبة أو مثل: الخيمة فيجعل صورته في ذهن السامع كالمشاهدة

2- استعمل علماء الفضاء نفس المعاني والمصطلحات التي ذكرها القرآن

 بعد أن كان اعتقادهم بإن السماء فراغ وفضاء.. فعادوا إلى تسميتها بالبناء الكوني أو النسيج الكونى، والآن يتأكد الكلام ويزداد وضوحا عندما وجدوا ما يشبه “السقالة” التى تدعم البناء، و”الشبكة” التي تربط بين المجرات كما سبق ذكره.

 وهذا يدلنا على أن الاكتشافات العلمية تقترب كثيرا من الحقائق القرآنية، إلى حد التطابق، فهذه الشبكة من الشعيرات الباهتة التي يصعب اكتشافها هي بمثابة الأعمدة غير المرئية المذكورة في القرآن.

 وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا (6)

وقوله- تعالى-: وَالْأَرْضِ وَما طَحاها أى: وحق الأرض ومن بسطها من كل جانب، وجعلها مهيأة للاستقرار عليها: يقال: طحى فلان الشيء ودحاه، إذا بسطه ووسعه.

استمرت فكرة أن الأرض جسم ثابت في مركز الكون لقرون، إلا أن العلم الحديث يؤكد أن كوكبنا في حركة سريعة ومستمرة. ويؤكد الإجماع العلمي أن الأرض لا تدور حول محورها فحسب، بل تدور أيضًا حول الشمس، بينما تُحمل في الوقت نفسه عبر امتداد مجرة ​​درب التبانة الشاسع. إن فهم هذه الحركات يفسر لماذا يُعدّ تصور ثبات الأرض وهمًا عميقًا، متجذرًا في تجربتنا اليومية أكثر من كونه حقيقة مادية. هذه الحركة المستمرة تحكم الظواهر من الليل والنهار إلى دورة الفصول.

آلية حركة الأرض

تخضع الأرض لحركات متعددة ومتميزة، تحدث كل منها بسرعة هائلة وعلى نطاق واسع. وأسرع هذه الحركات 

الحركة الأولي: دورانها حول محورها

هي الدوران حول محورها، وهو المسؤول عن تعاقب الليل والنهار. عند خط الاستواء، تبلغ سرعة هذا الدوران حوالي 1000 ميل في الساعة، بينما تتناقص هذه السرعة باتجاه القطبين، حيث تقترب من الصفر.

الحركة الثانية: دورانها حول الشمس 

تدور الأرض حول الشمس في مسار أسرع بكثير. يبلغ متوسط ​​سرعة دوران كوكبنا حول الشمس حوالي 67000 ميل في الساعة، مُكملاً دورة كاملة في غضون عام. هذه الحركة هي نتيجة لجاذبية الشمس القوية، التي تُبقي جميع الكواكب مُصطفة في مداراتها.

الحركة الثالثة: تدور مع بقية كواكب درب التبانة حول درب التبانة 

خارج المجموعة الشمسية، تدور الشمس وجميع أجرامها حول مركز مجرة ​​درب التبانة. هذا المدار المجري هو الأسرع، حيث يحمل المجموعة الشمسية بأكملها بسرعة تقارب 447000 ميل في الساعة. حتى مع هذه السرعة الهائلة، تستغرق الشمس والأرض حوالي 230 مليون سنة لإكمال دورة كاملة حول مركز المجرة.

الآن: لماذا لا نشعر بحركة الأرض؟

السبب في عدم إدراكنا لهذه الحركة هو مبدأ القصور الذاتي. فكل جسم على الأرض، بما في ذلك أجسامنا والغلاف الجوي والمحيطات، يتشارك زخم الكوكب ويتحرك معه. وهذا يخلق إطارًا مرجعيًا ثابتًا حيث لا توجد حركة نسبية بيننا وبين محيطنا المباشر.

أدلة حديثة على حركة الأرض المدارية والدورانية

بندول فوكو والدوران

يُعدّ بندول فوكو، وهو بندول كبير يتأرجح بحرية، من أوضح الأدلة على دوران الأرض. فعلى مدار اليوم، يبدو مستوى تأرجح البندول وكأنه يدور ببطء. هذا الدوران الظاهري ليس ناتجًا عن قوة تؤثر على البندول نفسه، بل عن دوران الأرض تحته.

التزيح النجمي والمدار

يأتي دليل حركة الأرض المدارية من رصد التزيح النجمي. فبينما تدور الأرض حول الشمس، يتغير الموقع الظاهري لنجم قريب قليلاً بالنسبة لخلفية النجوم الأبعد. يقيس علماء الفلك هذا التغير الزاوي الطفيف على مدى ستة أشهر، وهو ما يتوافق مع انتقال الأرض من جانب مدارها إلى الجانب الآخر.

تأثير كوريوليس

من التأثيرات الفيزيائية الأخرى التي تُظهر دوران الأرض تأثير كوريوليس، الذي يتسبب في انحراف الأجسام المتحركة، كالرياح والتيارات المحيطية، عن مسارها المستقيم. في نصف الكرة الشمالي، تنحني هذه الحركات نحو اليمين، وفي نصف الكرة الجنوبي تنحني نحو اليسار. هذا النمط الثابت من الانحراف هو نتيجة مباشرة لدوران الأرض تحت كتل الهواء والماء المتحركة.

الشاهد 

نحن كمسلمين نعلم علم اليقين بصدق الله تعالي، والغريب أن الله تعالي أنزل القرآن قبل 1000 عام ويزيد ولم يخشي الله - استغفر الله من التعبير - من كشف الزيف علمياً، فقد بحثت مليا عن أن السموات 7 سموات كما اخبرنا الله تبارك وتعالي فلم أجد إلا أن علماء الفزياء يرونها 5 أو 6 علي الأكثر ، فهذا لا يشتتنا بل نري انهم لم يكتشفوا بعد من يقييننا في ان كلام الله تعالي هو الأ‘لي، وهم يقومون بكتابة نظريات تضاد بعضها البعض، وكل نظرية تأتي بحجج وأدلة لتفنيد كذب الأخري، اما الله تعالي فلم يجدد القرآن الكريم منذ نزل والعلم الحديث يُثبت اليوم أن كلام القرآن صحيح علمياً مع انه لم ينزل من السماء أي تعديل - بالطبع نستغفر الله من هذا التعبير - ولكن المنطق يدعونا لهذا التفكير، في هذه الآية الكريمة الله تعالي أثبت في عدة آيات أن الأرض غير جامدة وانها تتوسع مثل ﴿ وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ..الآية 88 /النمل)  هذه الآية تُبت أن الجبال تتحرك حركة صغيرة جداً غير محسوسة ولكنها فزيائيا حقيقة وقد اثبتها العلم أن الأمطار الغزيرة يمكنها حقا أن تحرك الجبال، ومعني ان الجبال تتحرك إذن الأرض تتسع فهي جبال ضخمة كبيرة الحجم ثلثانها تحت سطح الأرض، فهل تتخيل أن الجبال بحجمها الضخم هذا تتحرك جيولوجيا في الصفائح التكتونية تحت الأرض وغيرها بالطبع ولا تتوسع؟ 

الأمطار يمكنها حقاً أن تُحرك الجبال (جبال الهملايا تحديداً)

 وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا (7) فَأَلۡهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقۡوَىٰهَا (8)

وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا يحتمل أن المراد نفس سائر المخلوقات الحيوانية، كما يؤيد هذا العموم، ويحتمل أن المراد بالإقسام بنفس الإنسان المكلف، بدليل ما يأتي بعده.وعلى كل، فالنفس آية كبيرة من آياته التي حقيقة بالإقسام بها فإنها في غاية اللطف والخفة، سريعة التنقل [والحركة] والتغير والتأثر والانفعالات النفسية، من الهم، والإرادة، والقصد، والحب، والبغض، وهي التي لولاها لكان البدن مجرد تمثال لا فائدة فيه، وتسويتها على هذا الوجه آية من آيات الله العظيمة.

إطلالة علم نفس حول الآية الكريمة 

هل نولد بفطرة أخلاقية أم أنها تتطور مع نمونا؟

لطالما دار جدلٌ بين الفلاسفة على مرّ القرون حول ما إذا كان الإنسان يولد خيّرًا أم شريرًا. جادل أرسطو بأن الأخلاق مكتسبة، وأننا نولد "كائنات غير أخلاقية"، بينما اعتبر سيغموند فرويد المواليد الجدد صفحة بيضاء أخلاقيًا. من قرأ رواية "سيد الذباب" سيتوقع أن يكون الأطفال مضطربين نفسيًا تمامًا، ينتظرون التحرر من قيود الكبار (تنبيه: حرق للأحداث) ليؤسسوا طائفة ويحاولوا قتل بعضهم بعضًا بوحشية. لعلّ أشهر وجهتي نظر متعارضتين في هذا النقاش هما وجهة نظر توماس هوبز وجان جاك روسو. يصف هوبز البشر بأنهم "لئيمون" و"وحشيون"، يحتاجون إلى المجتمع والقوانين لكبح جماح غرائزهم لكي يزدهروا؛ لاحقًا، انتقد روسو هذا الرأي علنًا، مُجادلًا بأن الإنسان سيكون لطيفًا ونقيًا لولا فساد الجشع وعدم المساواة الناجمين عن النظام الطبقي الذي يفرضه مجتمعنا.

مع ذلك، تُشير دراسات علم النفس النمائي

 إلى احتمال وجود بعض "الخير" الفطري في الإنسانية (أو، بتعبير أدق، أن الأطفال على الأقل قادرون على إصدار أحكام أخلاقية في سن أصغر مما كان يُعتقد سابقًا)

أظهرت دراسة أجرتها جامعة كيوتو عام ٢٠١٧ 

عُرضت على أطفال لا تتجاوز أعمارهم ستة أشهر مقاطع فيديو لثلاث شخصيات تشبه شخصية باك مان، تُسمى "العملاء": "الضحية"، و"المتنمر" الذي يصطدم بالضحية بقوة ويدفعها إلى الحائط، و"الطرف الثالث". كان الطرف الثالث يتدخل أحيانًا لمساعدة الضحية بالوقوف بينها وبين المتنمر، وأحيانًا أخرى يهرب. بعد مشاهدة الفيديو، طُلب من الأطفال اختيار الشخصية المفضلة لديهم، واختار معظمهم الطرف الثالث الذي حاول مساعدة الضحية.

كما أظهرت دراسات أخرى سلوكًا إيثاريًا لدى الرضع

 مثل دراسة "الأم الكبيرة" من جامعة هارفارد، حيث تصرف الرضع الذين لم يكونوا على علم بأنهم مراقبون بلطف وقدموا المساعدة للآخرين، مما يشير إلى أن هذا ليس مجرد سلوك مكتسب لتجنب العقاب أو التدقيق.

على الرغم من أن هذه الدراسات 

لا تستطيع دحض وجهات نظر فرويد وهوبز الأكثر تشاؤماً بشأن الطبيعة البشرية بشكل كامل، إلا أنها تشير إلى أن الأطفال يميلون بطبيعتهم إلى تفضيل السلوك الإيثاري، وأن الآباء يمكنهم أن يكونوا على ثقة تامة بأنه على الرغم من أن ترك أطفالهم على جزيرة مهجورة ربما لا يزال ليس أفضل فكرة، إلا أنهم على الأقل لن يحاولوا سحق أضعفهم بحجر (معذرةً، ويليام غولدينغ).

الشاهد 

الله تعالي بدأ بأنه ألهم النفس (الفجور) ثم التقوي اليس كذلك؟ ومعني هذا أن الخير موجود بالفطرة في الإنسان ولكنه كامن يحتاج إلي القوانين الإلهية التي تدعي فقه المعاملات ولولا ذلك لما نزل القرآن لأن القرآن كله أخلاق، وكان رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم قرآناً يمشي علي الأرض، وفقه العبادات لا يصح في ديننا من غير فقه المعاملات، بل إنه يلغيه في بعض الأحيان يقول تعالي في الحديث القدسي: " عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ :«قال الله تعالى: إني لا أتقبل الصلاة إلا ممن ‌تواضع ‌بها ‌لعظمتي ولم يستطل على خلقي ولم يبت مصرا على معصيتي وقطع نهاره في ذكري ورحم المسكين، وابن السبيل والأرملة ورحم المصاب ذلك نوره كنور الشمس أكلؤه بعزتي وأستحفظه ملائكتي وأجعل له في الظلمة نورا وفي الجهالة حلما ومثله في خلقي كمثل الفردوس في الجنة» وإن دققت في هذا الحديث الشريف ستجد أن معظمه فقه معاملات لا فقه عبادات، فصلاتك بينك وبين ربك وأنا ليس لي إلا حسن تعاملك معي، والله تعالي بعزيز قدره شرح لك: أنه لن يتقبل صلاتك هذه الكثيرة مالم تفعل هذه المعايير الموجودة بالحديث الشريف. 

 قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا (9)

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا أي: طهر نفسه من الذنوب، ونقاها من العيوب، ورقاها بطاعة الله، وعلاها بالعلم النافع والعمل الصالح

إطلالة حول الآية الكريمة 

يقول تعالي (وذكر فإن الذكري تنفع المؤمنين) أقصد: أن الخير كامن في أعماق نفوسنا نريد فقط من يزيل الغبار من عليه وينظف قلوبنا وعقولنا بأنواع الذكر المختلفة حتي يتذكر فيصحو من ثباته وكمونه داخل النفس فيظهر في النفس اولا ثم في القلب ثم يأتي السلوك كمرحلة نهائية بالتغيير، لا تشتكي من سلوك أحدهم ابدا، قاتلوا قديما السلوك مرآة الفكر، الفكرة اولا ثم تنطبع في القلب فالقلب به عصبونات عقلية تفهم وتعي وتعطي إشارات الحب او الكره لهذه الفكرة أو ذاك، ثم يأتي دور السلوك مؤخرا، أعطيك مثال 

مثال جبل الثلج 

كلنا يعلم أن جبل الثلج له ثلثين تحت سطح الماء وثلث واحد فقط فوق سطح الماء ، في أعمق نقطة في جبل الثلج تكمن الهُوية وما هي الهوية؟ هي انت وانت نتاج افكارك، ثم نصعد قليلا لأعلي في جبل الثلج اسفل سطح البحر ستجد المعتقدات الوسيطة وما هي المعتقدات الوسيطة: هي الأخلاق والمباديء التي تعلمتها في وقت مبكر من عمرك ، نقول في مرحلة المراهقة مثلاً  ثم  تأتي المعتقدات البسيطة تحت سطح البحر مباشرة ، وأخيراً يظهر سلوكك فوق سطح البحر، ما هذا؟ كل انفعال - كل طريقة تعبير عن نفسك لابد أن تمر بهذه الدورة من أسفل لأعلي، هكذا نفكر، قس علي هذا أنك عندما تذكرني بالخير، ربما رجعت بي إلي الهوية أو المعتقدات الوسيطة فأخرجت مني أحسن ما في، ويقول تعالي ايضا (الذين يستمعون القول فيتبعون أحسنه) انظر للفظ "القول" المقصود منه القرآن والسنة ولكن لماذا لم يقل الله تعالي لنا "القرآن والسنة" هل هذا ينسحب علي اي قول يفيدنا في حياتنا؟ لو كان: إذن من يذكرني بالخير سيزيل الأتربة ، أو حتي انا تذكرت بنفسي وأصلحت من نفسي سيزال التراب وارجع للهوية "مسلم - متدين ... الخ" أو علي اقل تقدير إلي الأخلاق الوسيطة التي تعلمتها خلال تجربتي الإيمانية مسبقا، والله أعلم واعلم، إلا أنه وعد من الله تعالي من سيحاول التزكية سيفلح. 

 وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا (10)

«وقد خاب» خسر «مَنْ دسَّاها» أخفاها بالمعصية وأصله دسها أبدلت السين الثانية ألفا تخفيفا.

إطلالة حول الآية الكريمة 

تقول الفلاحات الماهرات في الطبخ، دسسنا اللحم في طاجن الأرز ، إذن الدس هو اخفاء الشيء من أمام عينك، والناجح لا يخفي بل يُظهر نجاحه، ولكن لأن الأخلاق الذميمة اخفاق لا يحب من يظهرها عليه، وأعطيك مثال، هناك ناس كذابين ولا يحبون الصادقين لكنهم ايضا لا يحبون الكذابين أمثالهم، ولو صدق من امامهم لا يصدقونه بل يشكون في اقواله!! نتاج لأفعالهم وانعكاس طبيعي، الأهم: أنه لو احد ما قال عنهم أنهم كذابين وهم كذابون بالفعل لا يستطيعون تحمل هذا النعت ابدا ، فهم يبغون أن يظهروا صادقين مع كذبهم الشديد، هذا حال الإنسان، فسبحان من يرانا من الداخل إلي الخارج، هو خالق النفس ويعلم ما تمر به  من نوازع بين الخير والشر. 

 كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ (11) إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا (12)

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا أي: بسبب طغيانها وترفعها عن الحق، وعتوها على رسل الله، إِذِ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا أي: أشقى القبيلة، [وهو] " قدار بن سالف " لعقرها حين اتفقوا على ذلك، وأمروه فأتمر لهم.

عزيزي: هناك فتن كبيرة في الحياة، من أكبرها 4 فتن كبري يندرج تحتها فتن كثيرة 

أ - فتنة المال (مثل قارون)

ب- فتنة السُلطة (مثل فرعون) 

ج - فتنة العلم (سليمان عليهم السلام "ففهمناها سليمان" 

د - فتنة الجمال (يوسف عليه السلام) 

كم تعطي ثمود من 10 في هذه الفتن الكبري؟ المال - السُلطة - العلم لأنهم لا يمكنهم تشييد مثل هذه الحضارة بدون علم علي مقتضيات عصرهم، أما الجمال فلا نعلم ولكن المال يجلب جمال والتشييد في البناء نوع آخر من الجمال

هم لم يستطيعوا النجاة من هذه الفتن العظمي ووقعوا بها، ولم يقع بها غيرهم هذه عادة الناس والأزمنة والأحداث، الأهم: أنهم افُتتنوا بسلطتهم ومالهم وقوتهم البدنية فتعالوا علي فكرة أن الله تعالي يرسل اليهم رسالة تقول افعل ولا تفعل وحيوان يشرب مما يشربون منه ماء من بحيرة، استصغروا آية الله وتكبروا عليها ، فكانت النتيجة أن خرج اشقاهم، ومن هو الشقي إذن؟ الضال غير المهتدي - أو هو مجرم هارب من العدالة ، ولم يقل الله تعالي شقي بل أشقاهم، اي اسوء واحد بهم، انتهت قصة ثمود مما يقارب 2000 عام علي اقل تقدير، وأنت هل انت من الأشقياء، هل أنت أشقي قومك؟ اياك أن تكون اسوء الناس اخلاقا واترك لنفسك باب مفتوح مع الله، إن شاء فتحه لك مرة اخري، بعد قليل سيموت هذا الأشقي وسيقابل رب كريم في طبعه، ولكنه شديد الإنتقام في نفس الوقت أن يتكبر هذا الأشقي علي آية الله ويتجرأ عليها ليخلصها من حياة وهبها الله تعالي، هناك في الحياة آيات من عند الله تستشعر وتفهم عن الله تعالي أنه يريد كذا وكذا، وانت تريد العكس فتتكبر وتعاند ليس ارادة البشر فحسب بل إرادة الله تعالي، وهنا توقع وانتظر قسم ظهرك لأنك تنازع الله تعالي في كبرياءه وقهره للبشر

 فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا (13)

فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صالح عليه السلام محذرًا: نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا أي: احذروا عقر ناقة الله، التي جعلها لكم آية عظيمة، ولا تقابلوا نعمة الله عليكم بسقي لبنها أن تعقروها، فكذبوا نبيهم صالحًا

إطلالة حول الآية الكريمة 

فقال لهم صالح - عليه السلام - انتبهوا هذه الناقة ليست كنوقكم هي ناقة خاصة بالله تعالي ، فانتبهوا لن يمر قتلها مرور الكرام، سقيها - اكلها - شربها هي آية من آيات الله ، هي شاهد علي العصر، هي شاهد علي اخلاق الناس في هذا العصر، ومن هو صالح عليه السلام لقد كانوا يدعونه إنك انت الحليم الرشيد، اي ذو عقل ولا ينفعل ومع ذلك أخرجوه عن الطوق، بسبب افعالهخم وتجرأهم علي آية من آيات الله عزوجل، انتهت قصة صالح عليه السلام مع قومه منذ ما لا يقل عن 2000 عام، وأنت: تقوم بدور من في مجتمعك صالح عليه السلام، أم قومه ؟ أم أشقي واحد بهم؟ انتبه فالعاقبة وشيكة. 

 فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا (14)

«فكذبوه» في قوله ذلك عن الله المرتب عليه نزول العذاب بهم إن خالفوه «فعقروها» قتلوها ليسلم لهم ماء شربها «فدمدم» أطبق «عليهم ربهم» العذاب «بذنبهم فسواها» أي الدمدمة عليهم، أي عمهم بها فلم يفلت منهم أحد.

فكذبوه فعقروها 

كذب قوم صالح ، صالح عليه السلام ولم يصدقوه فيما قاله لهم أنه رسول وأن هذه الناقة هي معجزته، حيث انها خرجت أمام أعينهم من صخرة صماء ، وهي معجزة حسية لأنهم كانوا ماديين ومع هذا كذبوه بمجرد وجودها (الناقة) تمر بجانبهم وتشرب من نفس البحيرة هي يوم وهم يوم ..الخ من الأحداث التي لا تبين ماذ سيحدث بعد ، فعقروها وتخيلوا أن الأمر انتهي لهذا الحد، الناس تعتقد أنهم عندما يغيرون أحد ما في سلطة ما سيغيرون العالم، ولا يعرفون أن لكل رئيس تحته انصار وسينتصرون له، هنا من سينتصر للناقة؟ الله تعالي وبنفسه، ولربما قلت في نفسك: لماذا الله تعالي يرسل اليهم آية ضعيفة بهذا الشكل "ناقة تخرج من داخل صخرة ولا تفعل شيء سوي أنها تقاسمهم في الرزق الماءي هم يوم وهي يوم) طبيعي ان يريدوا ان يتخلصوا منها، ولله تعالي شأن آخر، فما تراه انت ضئيل - هزيل - لا يعتد به، قد يكون عند الله كبير، وارجع لكل الرسل والأنبياء ستجد رسالتهم إلي اقوامهم بآيات لا يمكن احد تصورها، علي سبيل المثال لا الحصر موسي وهارون عليهما السلام ذهبا إلي فرعون بــ 3 آيات فردية لفرعون وحاشيته أصحاب الحضارة المصرية " عصا - يد موسي تتحول من السواد إلي اللون الأبيض من غير مرض - وطلاقة لسان هارون" أشياء لا يمكن بحال من الأحوال أن تُقدم لفرعون وحاشيته وقس عليها كل الرسل ، لماذا؟ لإعلان طلاقة القدرة لله سبحانه وتعالي، هذا غير مع هذا التقدم الهائل تكنولوجيا اليوم يرجعون لإستخدام الحيوانات في اكبر الجيوش العالمية وليس البغال لأهميتها القصوي في الأماكن الوعرة فحسب، بل حوالي 21 حيوان وطير في حدود علمنا القاصر.

عمهم بعقاب، المنخرط في قتلها والمشاهد الراضي والساكت الحيادي، تخيل أن تُباد أمة "مثل شعب الآن" بسبب ناقة ، تفضلا: لا تستهين بغيرك وتستقوي بنفسك 

 وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبَٰهَا (15)

 يعود إلى أشقاها، أى: أن هذا الشقي قد أسرع إلى عقر الناقة دون أن يخشى سوء عاقبة فعله، لطغيانه وجهله.

The time and Occasion of its Revelation

The subject matter and style of the surah indicate that it was revealed among the first surahs revealed in Mecca, at a time when the opposition of the Meccan disbelievers to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had become very strong and intense. Its Virtues

Ahmad, Muslim, Ibn Jarir, Ibn al-Mundhir, and Ibn Mardawayh narrated on the authority of Imran ibn Husayn that a man said, "O Messenger of Allah, what people do and strive for today—is it something that has already been decreed for them and passed upon them in a preordained destiny, or is it something they will face in the future, brought to them by their Prophet and for which proof has been established against them?" He said, "Rather, it is something that has already been decreed for them." The man said, "Then why do they work?" He said: Whoever God created for one of the two stations, He prepared him to act accordingly. This is confirmed in God's Book: {And by the soul and He who fashioned it (7) and inspired it with its wickedness and its righteousness (8)}

At-Tabarani, Ibn Al-Mundhir, and Ibn Mardawayh narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, when reciting this verse, {And by the soul and He who fashioned it (7) and inspired it with its wickedness and its righteousness (8)}, would pause and then say: "O God, grant my soul its righteousness. You are its Guardian and Master, and the best of those who purify it.

Before we begin the interpretation, we would like to ask a thought-provoking question: This surah is Meccan, isn't it? That is, it was among the first revelations of Islam to the people of Mecca (the Quraysh tribe). Were they well-educated? No, most of them were illiterate. Did they possess knowledge of astronomy or any science of the secrets of the universe, even alchemy, as the Egyptian civilization did alongside them? No, they were untouched by any civilization established in that geographical area. So why does most of the Meccan portion speak of cosmic signs for a primitive people? The truth, to the best of our limited understanding, is that God Almighty wanted to elevate the thinking of the primitive people of Mecca from their focus on food, drink, and marriage to higher and broader horizons. All the civilizations around them were preoccupied with things far greater than these primitive things—food, drink, and marriage. Although these are essential for physical existence, they do not reach the sublimity of psychological/spiritual existence. For example, the Egyptian civilization was preoccupied with alchemy and magic. We are not saying that magic is good, but it is not food and drink, something they were preoccupied with. The Sabaean civilization in Yemen was preoccupied with building and construction, and so on. Therefore, God Almighty wanted to bring them out of the worship of the body and into the freedom of worshipping God. People are often preoccupied with providing food, drink, marriage, and then children. Whoever is free from this cycle early in life thinks about something greater, such as career, or turns to existential questions: Why am I here? Why did my close friend die suddenly? Why do we die, and what is the purpose of life? Few people who are preoccupied with food, drink, and marriage think in this way. We were created for the latter and not for the former, as the former is something that animals share with us.

God Almighty said

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا (1)

By the sun and its brightness (1)

This verse is from Mecca. (By the sun and its brightness) Mujahid and Al-Kalbi said: its light. The brightness is when the sun rises and its light becomes clear. Qatadah said: it is the entire day. Muqatil said: its heat, as in His saying in Surah Ta-Ha, "And do not be exposed to the sun's heat," meaning the heat will not harm you

A Scientific Overview of the Verse

The sun, that luminous ball of fire in the sky that illuminates our world and radiates energy to it day after day. This energy, based on nuclear fusion reactions in its nucleus, is essential for the existence of life on our planet. Some of its benefits are the following:

A - The sun contributes to maintaining the water cycle

The water cycle begins when the sun heats the oceans, lakes, and rivers, causing water to evaporate. This vapor forms clouds, which later return as rain or snow, thus completing the natural cycle.

b) The sun is a source of vitamin D

The sunlight helps our skin produce vitamin D, an essential nutrient for bone health, immunity, and mental well-being.

C. The Sun Fuels All Food Chains

Every living organism depends on energy that ultimately comes from the sun. Plants absorb sunlight → Animals feed on plants → Humans feed on both.

D. The Sun's Influence on Climate

The sun is the primary driver of weather patterns on our planet. The amount of solar radiation reaching Earth varies throughout the year due to the tilt of Earth's axis and its elliptical orbit around the sun. These seasonal variations in solar radiation are responsible for the seasons and have a direct impact on weather patterns, such as the formation of rainy and dry seasons and extreme weather events. And of course, there are no fewer than 50 other benefits that cannot be listed here.

The point is

God Almighty only swears by what is truly great, and this greatness is from His own hand—glory be to Him. Have you emulated God's perfection? If you own a marketable product in any field, can you speak about your product—your craft—with the same pride as God? My dear friend, many people live their lives in their jobs, or even married women in their homes, under the motto, "We work according to how much they pay us," not according to our capacity for responsibility. Imam al-Ghazali said, "My face darkens when I see work coming from the hands of a non-Muslim, perfected and flawless, while work coming from the hands of a Muslim is weak and deformed." So let us be wary.

وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا (2) 

And the moon when it follows it (2)

(And the moon when it follows it) meaning when it follows the sun, specifically in the first half of the month. When the sun sets, the moon follows it in illumination and shines behind it. Az-Zajjaj said: This occurs when it is full, meaning when its light is complete, following the sun in illumination, and this happens during the full moon nights.

A - The Moon Contributes to the Stability of Earth's Rotation

The moon plays a pivotal role in stabilizing the Earth's axis of rotation, which is the angle between the Earth's axis of rotation and the plane of its orbit around the sun. This stability is essential for maintaining the regulation of Earth's climate and its seasonality. Without the moon, the Earth's axis of rotation would be subject to greater changes due to its gravitational interactions with other celestial bodies, such as the sun and planets.

The stability of the Earth's axis significantly impacts global climate patterns. A stable axis of rotation helps regulate the distribution of sunlight across different latitudes throughout the year, which in turn affects temperature gradients, atmospheric circulation patterns, and rainfall patterns. These factors shape regional climates and weather patterns, impacting ecosystems, agriculture, and human societies.

The stability of the Earth's axial tilt also influences the biological rhythms and behaviors of various organisms. Many living things, including plants, animals, and microorganisms, exhibit seasonal cycles of reproduction, migration, and other vital activities. These cycles often coincide with changes in day length and environmental conditions resulting from the Earth's axial tilt. For example, the timing of bird migration, plant flowering, and animal breeding cycles is influenced by seasonal variations in daylight hours, which are ultimately regulated by the Moon's stabilizing effect on the Earth's axial tilt.

B. The Gravitational Effect on Ocean Tides

Tidal forces arise from the varying gravitational pull of a celestial body on different parts of the Earth. The side of the Earth closest to the Moon experiences stronger gravity compared to the Earth's center, while the other side experiences weaker gravity. This difference in gravitational force causes Earth's oceans to expand, bulging outward on either side, one facing the moon and the other the opposite side of the planet.

C. It provides natural nighttime illumination.

The reflection of sunlight provides natural nighttime illumination. This illumination has significantly impacted human societies and many biological processes. In the absence of artificial light sources, the moon has historically been humanity's primary source of nighttime light. This illumination likely facilitated activities such as hunting, gathering, and social interaction after dark. The availability of moonlight may have influenced the development of human social structures and cultural practices. Storytelling, rituals, and even calendars have been linked to the lunar cycle in many cultures.

E. The moon is the reason our days are 24 hours long

Earth rotates on its axis while revolving around the sun. Each of these rotations represents a day for us on Earth. This rotation is also affected by the gravity of other celestial bodies, and as it turns out, it is significantly influenced by the Moon's gravity. The Moon likely formed as a result of a collision between a Mars-sized planet and Earth. This collision ejected massive pieces of rock and dust that were captured by Earth's orbit and then coalesced under gravity to form the Moon.

Furthermore, the Moon's gravity not only influences the tides in Earth's oceans but also exerts tidal forces on Earth's crust. These tidal forces contribute significantly to geological processes, such as plate tectonics and volcanic activity, which are fundamental to shaping Earth's surface, maintaining nutrient cycles, and supporting diverse terrestrial environments. And other things, of course.

The evidence is that people throughout the ages have been comforted by the moonlight, inspiring poets, lovers, and others. But few of us knew about the benefits the moon has brought us. Here we pause: Truly and justly, God did not create anything in vain. Rather, everything has a cycle that serves a purpose, benefiting humans, animals, and plants. The Chinese and others have indeed built a massive artificial satellite (a simulation of the natural moon), but why? To illuminate the streets, shops, and other places at night, reducing harmful emissions from artificial light. We do not know the harms of this artificial satellite, nor do we know if it has achieved its intended purpose. Does it benefit the cycles of plants, animals, and humans? Does it function like the moon created by God Almighty? Does it require periodic maintenance? Blessed be God, the best of creators.

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا (3)

And by the day when it reveals it (3)

Regarding His saying, “And by the day when it reveals it,” Mujahid said: “It illuminates.” Qatadah said: “And by the day when it reveals it” means when the day covers it. Ibn Jarir said: Some scholars of Arabic interpreted this to mean: “And by the day when it dispels the darkness,” because the context indicates this. I say: If this person had interpreted it to mean “And by the day when it reveals it,” i.e., the earth, it would have been better, and his interpretation would have been more accurate in God’s saying, “And by the night when it covers it,” and it would have been better and stronger. And God knows best. This is why Mujahid said: “And by the day when it reveals it” is like His saying, “And by the day when it shines forth” [Al-Layl: 2]. As for Ibn Jarir, he preferred that the pronoun in all of this refers to the sun, because it was mentioned previously.

In addition to its impact on human and animal life, longer daylight hours can have environmental effects. Increased photosynthesis during the sunnier months can lead to higher oxygen levels, contributing to better plant growth and thus supporting biodiversity. However, as weather patterns change due to climate change, day length may also change, affecting how ecosystems adapt over time.

G. Cultural and Social Aspects

Changes in daylight hours affect our culture, social activities, and lifestyle. Longer days often lead to increased outdoor activities, fostering a sense of community as people gather in parks, play sports, or enjoy quiet walks. Festivals and celebrations are also typically held to coincide with the changing daylight hours, highlighting the importance of seasonal shifts in human life.

The Witness

We may often overlook the blessing of daylight, a gift we enjoy without realizing it. God Almighty says in His Holy Book, "We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth." You surely know that some Scandinavian countries, and others like Northern Ireland, suffer from depression, ranking among the most depressed populations in the world, simply because the days are short and the night and clouds dominate the climate there. So, praise be to God for His blessings. Furthermore, we have scientifically confirmed, after having affirmed theologically, that He only swears by what benefits us in our lives.

 وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰهَا (4)

By the night when it covers it (4)

By the night when it covers it, meaning when it covers the face of the earth, so that everything on it is dark. The alternation of darkness and light, and the sun and moon, over this world, with regularity and perfection, and the fulfillment of the needs of humankind, is the greatest proof that God is All-Knowing and All-Powerful, and that He alone is worthy of worship, and that every other object of worship is false.

The swarms of insects that gather around streetlights at night are a simple yet tragic example of how poor lighting can harm living organisms. Very important for migratory birds

A dark night sky means that migratory birds cannot see Polaris, the North Star, around which other stars revolve. Do you want those lovely hummingbirds to freeze because they can't find their way to warmer climates before winter?

Darkness can boost creativity

In fact, studies published in the 2013 issue of the journal Environmental Psychology revealed that darkness "increases freedom from constraints, which in turn promotes creativity." The research also showed that darkness "stimulates a bold and exploratory style of thinking."

Darkness is good for your budget and the planet

 وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا (5)

By the heaven and what He constructed (5)

Tafsir al-Qurtubi - may God have mercy on him -

The heaven we wish to discuss is that celestial body, described as a “construction.” God Almighty has described the heaven with many attributes, and what is within it. However, a careful examination of the verses reveals that they emphasize the heaven as a “construction.” This word and its meaning appear in several places: (construction, We constructed it, He built it, and what He constructed, in layers, without pillars, the sky splitting open, a protected roof, possessing pathways, constellations and We adorned it, possessing return). All these descriptions are consistent with the descriptions of structures. A building has a roof, walls, columns, and doors. The roof may be adorned, and the structure is interconnected. It occupies a defined and tangible space, may have multiple floors, may have guard posts, may have towers, and its roof may have cracks. Every building has length and width, and every building has light. All these characteristics of buildings are applied by the Quran to the sky.

The Interpretation of Al-Tahir Ibn Ashur - may God have mercy on him -

A building is anything whose height is raised above the ground to provide protection from heat, cold, rain, and animals. Describing the sky as a building is a metaphorical usage.

God Almighty says

 (أَأَنْتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاءُ بَنَاهَا رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا ) 

(Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven which He constructed? He raised its height and perfected it.) [Surat An-Nazi'at, verses 27-28]

The Sky in Language

Singular, plural: heavens

It is everything that surrounds the Earth. There are seven layered heavens. The term "sky" is used for everything that is above, whether it is a low elevation like the roof of a house, like clouds, like the Earth's atmosphere, or like the lowest heaven. Or it is a high elevation like the seventh heaven. It is also used for some parts of it, as a case of using the whole to mean the part. It is also used to mean the whole. The sky is everything that is above you and shades you, hence the roof of a house is called "sky." The sky also means rain, so named because it falls from the sky.

Al Jazeera published on its website an article by Al-Saghir Muhammad Al-Gharbi:

"Scientists have been able to observe a vast network of thin channels made of hydrogen gas, believed to connect all the galaxies in the universe, for the first time in the history of astrophysics. This giant cosmic structure is located 12 billion light-years away in the constellation Aquarius." This discovery supports the theory of galaxy formation and evolution according to the "Standard Cosmological Model," which predicted the existence of something similar to The “scaffolding” that supports the cosmic structure (a cosmic web). According to a scientific study published in the journal Science on October 4th, scientists have found evidence of multiple hydrogen filaments (strands) extending over a distance of more than three million light-years, connecting an entire group of galaxies.

This network is characterized by being extremely faint, making it difficult to detect in the spaces between galaxies. Scientists believe that these filaments began to form early in the universe's history, shortly after the Big Bang, when clouds of hydrogen gas flooded its expanse before condensing under gravity to form tangled filaments.

The miraculous aspect:

1- The eloquent simile and metaphor in describing the unknown and unknowable, which is: the structure, whether like a dome or a tent, making its image in the listener's mind as if it were being witnessed.

2- Space scientists used the same meanings and terms mentioned in the Quran, after previously believing that the sky was empty space. They returned to calling it a structure. The cosmic web, or cosmic structure, is now confirmed and its meaning becomes clearer with the discovery of what resembles a "scaffolding" supporting the structure, and a "network" connecting galaxies, as previously mentioned.

This indicates that scientific discoveries are closely aligning with Quranic truths, to the point of near-perfect correspondence. This network of faint, difficult-to-detect filaments is analogous to the invisible pillars mentioned in the Quran.

 وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا (6)

And by the earth and what He spread out (6)

And His saying, may He be exalted: “And by the earth and what He spread out,” meaning: By the right of the earth and He who spread it out from every side and made it suitable for settlement upon it. It is said: So-and-so spread out something and flattened it, meaning he extended it and widened it.

A Scientific Perspective on the Verse

The idea that the earth is a stationary body at the center of the universe persisted for centuries. However, modern science confirms that our planet is in rapid and continuous motion. The scientific consensus confirms that the earth not only rotates on its axis but also revolves around the sun, while simultaneously being carried through the vast expanse of the Milky Way galaxy. Understanding these movements explains why the notion of the earth's immobility is a profound illusion, more deeply rooted in our daily experience than a physical reality. This continuous motion governs phenomena from night and day to the cycle of seasons.

The Mechanism of Earth's Motion

The earth is subject to multiple and distinct movements, each occurring at tremendous speed and on a vast scale. The Fastest of These Movements

First Movement: Rotation Around Its Axis

This is the rotation around the Earth's axis, which is responsible for the cycle of day and night. At the equator, this rotation speed is about 1,000 miles per hour, while this speed decreases towards the poles, where it approaches zero.

Second Movement: Revolution Around the Sun

The Earth revolves around the Sun in a much faster path. The average speed of our planet's revolution around the Sun is about 67,000 miles per hour, completing a full revolution in one year. This movement is a result of the Sun's strong gravity, which keeps all the planets aligned in their orbits.

Third Movement: Revolution with the Other Planets of the Milky Way

Outside the solar system, the Sun and all its celestial bodies revolve around the center of the Milky Way galaxy. This galactic orbit is the fastest, carrying the entire solar system at a speed of approximately 447,000 miles per hour. Even at this incredible speed, it takes the Sun and Earth about 230 million years to complete a full revolution around the galactic center.

Now: Why don't we feel the Earth's movement?

The reason we don't perceive this movement is due to the principle of inertia. Every object on Earth, including our own bodies, the atmosphere, and the oceans, shares the planet's momentum and moves with it. This creates a fixed frame of reference where there is no relative motion between us and our immediate surroundings.

The Recent Evidence of Earth's Orbital Motion and Rotation

Foucault's Pendulum and Rotation

Foucault's pendulum, a large, freely swinging pendulum, is one of the clearest pieces of evidence for Earth's rotation. Throughout the day, the plane of the pendulum's swing appears to rotate slowly. This apparent rotation is not caused by a force acting on the pendulum itself, but by the Earth's rotation beneath it.

Stellar Parallelism and Orbit

Evidence of Earth's orbital motion comes from observing stellar parallax. As Earth revolves around the Sun, the apparent position of a nearby star changes slightly relative to the background of more distant stars. Astronomers measure this minute angular change over six months, which corresponds to Earth's movement from one side of its orbit to the other.

The Coriolis Effect

Another physical phenomenon that demonstrates Earth's rotation is the Coriolis effect, which causes moving objects, such as winds and ocean currents, to deviate from their straight paths. In the Northern Hemisphere, these movements are deflected to the right, and in the Southern Hemisphere, they are deflected to the left. This consistent pattern of deflection is a direct result of Earth's rotation beneath moving air and water masses.

The Witness

We, as Muslims, know with absolute certainty the truthfulness of God Almighty. It is remarkable that God revealed the Quran over 1000 years ago and did not fear—may God forgive me for this expression—the exposure of falsehood through science. I have thoroughly researched the seven heavens that God, Blessed and Exalted is He, has informed us of, and found that physicists believe there are only five or six at most. This does not confuse us; rather, it shows that they have not yet discovered the truth that God's word is supreme. They write theories that contradict each other, each theory presenting arguments and evidence to refute the falsehood of the others. God Almighty has not updated the Holy Quran since its revelation, and modern science today proves that the Quran's words are scientifically correct, even though no modification has been revealed from heaven—of course, we seek God's forgiveness for this expression—but logic compels us to think this way,  in this noble verse, God Almighty has established in several verses that the earth is not static and that it is expanding, such as: “And you see the mountains, thinking them to be static,  but it moves like a cloud... [Quran 27:88]) This verse establishes that mountains move in very small, imperceptible ways, but it is a physical reality. Science has proven that heavy rains can indeed move mountains. The fact that mountains move implies that the Earth is expanding. These mountains are enormous, two-thirds of them submerged. Can you imagine that mountains of such immense size, moving geologically along the tectonic plates beneath the Earth's surface, and not expanding?

By the soul and He who fashioned it—it is possible that this refers to the soul of all living creatures, as supported by the generality of the verse. It is also possible that the oath refers specifically to the soul of the accountable human being, as evidenced by what follows. In any case, the soul is a great sign among His signs, worthy of being sworn by, for it is extremely subtle and light, quick to move, change, be affected, and experience psychological emotions such as worry, will, intention, love, and hatred. Without it, the body would be merely a useless statue, and its fashioning in this manner is one of God's great signs

A Psychological Perspective on the Noble Verse

Are we born with an innate moral nature, or does it develop as we grow?

Philosophers have debated for centuries whether humans are born good or evil. Aristotle argued that morality is acquired, that we are born "immoral beings," while Sigmund Freud considered newborns morally blank slates. Anyone who has read "Lord of the Flies" might expect the children to be completely unhinged, waiting to be freed from adult constraints (spoiler alert) to form a cult and brutally try to kill each other. Perhaps the two most famous opposing viewpoints in this debate are those of Thomas Hobbes and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Hobbes describes humans as "vicious" and "brutal," needing society and laws to restrain their instincts in order to thrive; later, Rousseau publicly criticized this view, arguing that humans would be kind and pure were it not for the corruption of greed and inequality resulting from the class system imposed by our society.

However, developmental psychology studies suggest

that there may be some innate "goodness" in humanity (or, more precisely, that children are at least capable of making moral judgments at a younger age than previously thought).

A 2017 Kyoto University study showed that

children as young as six months old were shown videos of three Pac-Man-like characters, called "agents": a "victim," a "bully" who rammed the victim against a wall, and a "third party." The third party sometimes intervened to help the victim by standing between them and the bully and sometimes ran away. After watching the video, the children were asked to choose their favorite character, and most chose the third party who tried to help the victim.

Other studies have also shown altruistic behavior in infants

For example, Harvard University's "Big Mom" ​​study showed that infants who were unaware they were being observed acted kindly and offered help to others, suggesting that this is not simply learned behavior to avoid punishment or scrutiny.

Although these studies

cannot completely refute Freud and Hobbes's more pessimistic views of human nature, they do suggest that children are naturally inclined to prefer altruistic behavior, and that parents can be quite confident that although leaving their children on a deserted island may still not be the best idea, at least they won't try to crush the weakest among them with a stone (apologies, William Golding).

The witness

God Almighty began by inspiring the soul with (wickedness) and then with piety, is that not so? This means that goodness is inherent in human nature, but it lies dormant and requires divine laws, known as the jurisprudence of transactions. Were it not for this, the Quran would not have been revealed, for the entire Quran is about ethics, and the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was a walking embodiment of the Quran. The jurisprudence of worship is not valid in our religion without the jurisprudence of transactions; indeed, it sometimes negates it. God Almighty says in a hadith qudsi: On the authority of Ibn Abbas (may God be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “God Almighty said: ‘I do not accept prayer except from one who humbles himself before My majesty, does not consider himself superior to My creation, does not persist in disobeying Me, spends his day remembering Me, and shows mercy to the poor, the wayfarer, the widow, and the afflicted. His light is like the light of the sun. I protect him with My might, entrust him to My angels, and grant him light in darkness and forbearance in ignorance. His example among My creation is like Paradise in Heaven.’” If you examine this noble hadith closely, you will find that most of it pertains to the jurisprudence of transactions, not the jurisprudence of worship. Your prayer is between you and your Lord, and I am only concerned with your good conduct. With me, and God Almighty, in His greatness, explained to you: that He will not accept your many prayers unless you do these standards that are in the noble hadith.

 قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا (9)

He has certainly succeeded who purifies it (9)

He has certainly succeeded who purifies it, meaning he cleanses himself from sins, purifies himself from faults, elevates himself through obedience to God, and raises himself through beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds.

A Glimpse into the Noble Verse

God Almighty says, "And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers." I mean that goodness lies dormant deep within our souls. We simply need someone to remove the dust from it and cleanse our hearts and minds with various forms of remembrance so that it may remember and awaken from its slumber and dormancy within the soul. It will then manifest first in the soul, then in the heart, and finally, behavior will follow as the final stage of change. Never complain about someone's behavior. It was said in the past that behavior is a mirror of thought. The thought comes first, then it is imprinted on the heart. The heart contains cognitive neurons that understand, comprehend, and give signals of love or hate to this thought or that. Behavior comes later. Let me give you an example:

The Iceberg

We all know that an iceberg has two-thirds below the water's surface and only one-third above. Water, at the deepest point of the iceberg lies identity. And what is identity? It is you, and you are the product of your thoughts. Then, going a little higher up the iceberg, below the surface of the sea, you will find intermediate beliefs. And what are intermediate beliefs? They are the morals and principles you learned early in life, say during adolescence. Then come the simpler beliefs just below the surface of the sea, and finally, your behavior appears above the surface. What is this? Every emotion—every way of expressing yourself—must go through this cycle from the bottom up. This is how we think. Consider this: when you remind me of something good, perhaps you are taking me back to my identity or intermediate beliefs, bringing out the best in me. And God Almighty also says, "Those who listen to the word and follow the best of it." Look at the word "word." It refers to the Quran and Sunnah. But why didn't God Almighty say to us, "The Quran and Sunnah"? Does this apply to any word that benefits us in our lives? If it were so: then whoever remembers me with kindness will remove the dust, or even if I myself remembered and corrected myself, the dust would be removed and I would return to the identity “Muslim - religious...etc.” or at least to the intermediate morals that I learned during my previous faith experience, and God knows best, but it is a promise from God Almighty that whoever tries to purify himself will succeed.

 وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا (10)

And he who corrupts it will surely fail. (10)

“And he who corrupts it will surely fail” means he who hides it through disobedience. The original form is “dassaha,” but the second “s” was changed to an “a” for ease of pronunciation.

A Glimpse into the Noble Verse

Skilled cooks say, “We hid the meat in the rice casserole.” So, “dassa” means to hide something from your sight. A successful person doesn't hide; they showcase their success. However, because reprehensible morals are a sign of failure, they don't like those who display them. Let me give you an example: there are liars who dislike truthful people, but they also dislike liars like themselves. Even if someone tells the truth, they won't believe them; they'll doubt their words! As a result of their actions and a natural reflection, the most important thing is that if someone were to say about them that they are liars and they are indeed liars, they could never bear this description. They want to appear truthful despite their extreme lying. This is the state of man. Glory be to Him who sees us from the inside out. He is the Creator of the soul and knows what it goes through of impulses between good and evil.

 كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ بِطَغۡوَىٰهَآ (11) إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشۡقَىٰهَا (12)

Thamud denied the truth because of their transgression (11) when their most wretched one was sent forth (12)

Thamud denied the truth because of their transgression, their arrogance and rejection of the truth, and their defiance of God's messengers, when their most wretched one was sent forth—that is, the most wretched of the tribe, [who was] Qudar ibn Salif—to slaughter her when they conspired to do so and he obeyed their command.

A Reflection on the Noble Verse

My dear friend: There are great trials in life, the greatest of which are four major trials, under which many others fall:

A - The trial of wealth (like Qarun)

B - The trial of power (like Pharaoh)

C - The trial of knowledge (Solomon, peace be upon him, "So We made Solomon understand it")

D - The trial of beauty (Joseph, peace be upon him)

How would you rate Thamud out of 10 in these major trials? Wealth, power, and knowledge, because they could not have built such a civilization without knowledge of the requirements of their time. As for beauty, we do not know, but wealth brings beauty, and construction is another kind of beauty.

The Point

They could not escape these great trials and fell into them, unlike others. This is the way of people, times, and events. The most important point is that they were seduced by their power, wealth, and physical strength. They considered the idea that God Almighty sent them a message telling them to do and not to do, and that an animal drank from the same water they drank from a lake, yet they underestimated it. They saw God's signs and were arrogant towards them, and the result was that their most wretched one emerged. And who is this wretched one? The misguided one, the one who is not guided—or a criminal fleeing justice. God Almighty did not say "wretched," but rather "the most wretched of them," meaning the worst among them. The story of Thamud ended approximately 2000 years ago at the very least. And you, are you among the wretched? Are you the most wretched of your people? Beware of being the worst of people in character, and leave yourself an open door with God. If He wills, He will open it for you again. Soon, this wretched one will die and meet a Lord who is generous in nature, but also severe in vengeance. This wretched one was arrogant towards God's signs and dared to deprive them of the life that God Almighty bestowed upon them. There are signs in life from God that you sense and understand from God Almighty that He wants such and such, and you want the opposite, so you become arrogant and defy not only the will of people but also the will of God Almighty. Here, expect and await your back to be broken, for you are challenging God Almighty in His majesty and His power over humankind.

 فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا (13)

Then the Messenger of God said to them, “The she-camel of God and her drink!” (13)

The Messenger of God, Salih, peace be upon him, warned them, saying, “The she-camel of God and her drink!” meaning: Beware of harming the she-camel of God, which He has made a great sign for you. Do not repay God’s favor upon you by giving you her milk by harming her. But they disbelieved their prophet, Salih.

A Glimpse into the Noble Verse

Salih, peace be upon him, said to them, “Beware! This she-camel is not like your she-camels. She is a she-camel belonging to God Almighty. Beware! Killing her will not go unpunished. Her drinking—her milk—is a sign from God. She is a witness to the times. She is a witness to the morals of people in this era. And who is Salih, peace be upon him? They used to call him ‘the forbearing, the wise,’ meaning he was intelligent and did not react impulsively.” That is why they took him out of control, because of their actions and their audacity towards one of the signs of God Almighty. The story of Saleh, peace be upon him, with his people ended no less than 2000 years ago. And you: Whose role are you playing in your society, Saleh, peace be upon him, or his people? Or the most wretched one among them? Beware, for the consequences are imminent.

 فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمۡدَمَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمۡ فَسَوَّىٰهَا (14)

But they denied him and hamstrung her. So, their Lord destroyed them for their sin and leveled the city. (14)

“But they denied him” in his statement on behalf of God, which would bring down punishment upon them if they disobeyed him. “So, they hamstrung her”—they killed her so that they would have their drinking water. “So, their Lord destroyed them”—He brought down upon them the punishment— “for their sin and leveled the city”—meaning the destruction was upon them, encompassing them all, so that none of them escaped.

A Glimpse into the Noble Verse

So, they denied him and hamstrung her

The people of Salih (peace be upon him) denied him and did not believe what he told them: that he was a messenger and that this she-camel was his miracle. It emerged before their very eyes from a solid rock, a tangible miracle, for they were materialistic. Yet they denied him simply because of the she-camel's presence. She passed by them and drank from the same lake—one day for them, another for her—and so on, with events that do not reveal what would happen next. So, they hamstrung her and imagined that the matter ended there. People believe that when they change someone in power, they will change the world, not realizing that every leader has supporters who will stand by him. So, who will stand up for the she-camel? God Almighty Himself, and perhaps you said to yourself: Why would God Almighty send them such a weak sign as this—a she-camel emerging from inside a rock, doing nothing but sharing their water supply, one day for them and one day for her? Naturally, they would want to get rid of it. But God Almighty has a different purpose. What you see as insignificant, trivial, and unimportant may be great in God's eyes. Look at all the messengers and prophets, and you will find their messages to their people contained signs that no one could imagine. For example, Moses and Aaron, peace be upon them, went to Pharaoh with three individual signs for Pharaoh and his entourage, the people of Egyptian civilization: the staff of Moses, the hand of Moses turning from black to white without illness, and the eloquence of Aaron. These are things that could not possibly be presented to Pharaoh and his entourage. And you can apply this to all the messengers. Why? To proclaim the boundless power of God Almighty. This is in addition to the tremendous technological advancements of today, where they return to using animals in the largest armies in the world, not just mules, due to their crucial importance in rugged terrain, but also... 21 animals and birds, to the best of our limited knowledge.

The Witness

Please: Do not underestimate anyone's strength, and do not say, "I will defeat him because he is weak." Do not underestimate him, for the camel is not just a camel; it is entrusted to God Almighty, and He is sufficient as a guardian.

So, their Lord destroyed them for their sin and leveled them

He punished them all—those involved in killing it, the onlookers who consented, and the silent, neutral observers. Imagine a nation being wiped out, like the people of today, because of a camel. Please: Do not underestimate others and rely on your own strength.

 وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقۡبَٰهَا (15)

And he does not fear its consequences (15)

This refers to the most wretched of them, meaning that this wretched man hastened to hamstring the she-camel without fearing the evil consequences of his action, due to his transgression and ignorance.

A Glimpse into the Noble Verse

The common saying is: He who fears is safe. Fear can sometimes be a blessing, for it could have prevented the punishment of his entire people, but he was the most wretched of men for daring to kill a she-camel belonging to God Almighty. O God, we ask for forgiveness and well-being in religion, this world, and the Hereafter.
